Who do you want the Browns to pick?
-
SQ_CraziesI'd been saying Suh is undoubtedly who they should pick--but then they started winning games and no doubt they probably took themselves out of the running for him. They're out of the running for some of the poll choices as well, but you never know (I'm totally convinced that Suh won't drop though).
But I still think it's a no-brainer for the Browns, assuming he's available you take McClain without even thinking about it.
So who do you want? -

The guy is a playmaker. -
SQ_CraziesI watched him 4-5 times this season, and he always impressed me but in the title game you could see his absolute greatness. He's going to be a GREAT LB at the next level IMO. He really reminds me of Ray Lewis as far as the intensity and the heart he plays with. Not to mention his size--he's got GREAT size and he almost runs like a safety.

h2thaizzoMy dream would be to get McClain at #7, then maneuver or hope that Earl Thomas slides to us in round 2. I would love to have a vocal and on-field leader like McClain, and a ball-hawking safety in Thomas, whose tackling abilities are vastly underrated due to his small stature.
-
SQ_CraziesThat would be about the best case scenario for the Browns--get McClain and Thomas 1, 2.
As much as they could use 11 picks, it'd be worth it for them to trade up to get Thomas too. -
wes_mantoothBerry.
He won't be there though, so hopefully McClain slides to them. -
PreacherDoesn't the Browns have a bunch of picks in this draft?

Elliot StablerJoe Haden

Yes they do. Does anyone know if they get the Jets 2nd rounder? I know it was based on what Braylon did......and he didn't do much of anything.Preacher wrote: Doesn't the Browns have a bunch of picks in this draft? -
royal_kThey get the Jets 3rd round pick based on the number of receptions he made.
-
h2thaizzoNope, we only get their 3rd out of his worthless ass.

wes_mantooth
lol...he even screws us when he is on another team!!h2thaizzo wrote: Nope, we only get their 3rd out of his worthless ass. -

WriterbuckeyeBerry won't be there and Suh will be long gone.
Probably the choice will be McClain or Haden. Neither would be a bad pick and both would fill positions of need. -
iclfan2I would have picked Suh or Berry but I had to be realistic and chose Haden. We need a #2 CB badly.
-
BlueDevil11I wanted to vote for Berry, but like iclfan2 I had to be realistic and think that Berry will not fall to #7.
-
devil11971a) Berry
1b) McClain
2) Haden -
slingshot4everBrowns are weaker in the secondary, give me Berry over McClain.
-
MulvaThe obvious choice is Berry, but there is no chance he will be there so I disregarded him.
I picked Haden. -
DaBrowns41McClain, Berry, and Haden, in that order.
However, I wouldn't be upset with either. We should be able to hit the nail on the head with this pick. -

Considering the fact that he's a safety makes him an option, IMO. Safeties aren't usually drafted in the top 5, except for obviously Eric Turner.Mulva wrote: The obvious choice is Berry, but there is no chance he will be there so I disregarded him.
I picked Haden.
Even in 2006, two safeties were drafted in the top 10 at #7 and #8. Sean Taylor was taken at 5 (in a weak draft overall).
With this being a very strong draft class, it's possible that he slides. -
wes_mantooth^^Yeah, but right now isn't he and Suh going as #1 and #2 on most boards?
-

Yeah, he's projected a top 5 pick, but with the combine and things you can't rule anything out. People rise and fall. QB's always rise the most and I still say another QB goes up to a top projection, if not two in the top 10.wes_mantooth wrote: ^^Yeah, but right now isn't he and Suh going as #1 and #2 on most boards?
I'm not holding my breath on it, but with it being a safety position, there's always a chance that he'll slide at least a little bit. -
wes_mantoothYeah, just look at that Tackle from Bama last year......he slipped from the #1 overall, down to the Bengals.
