No, but someone who is blinded by their love and Orange & Brown goggles, for the hometown player, thinking he was the GOAT, when pretty much everyone non-Cleveland disagrees, they are a homer.

Stooping to the steroid/HGH accusations was always the "go to' Durkie move.

If you don't want a pissing match, don't lift the toilet lid. You're the dumbass who started the deterioration of this thread.

So let me get this straight...

BR wanted to trade Thomas a few yrs ago (while saying he wasn't as good as his reputation)

Others said terrible idea, Thomas is awesome, why trade him

BR says because he hasn't brought wins

Others say he is the best player on team. Trading makes us worse

BR says a everyone would trade him for a franchise QB (which is impossible)

Others say we would still suck if we traded him, because top QB won't be return

Sounds like BR made a claim to trade Thomas, others disagreed. His argument was he hasn't brought wins. Problem is...what does trading him accomplish? You won't get a top QB which is only way to get better. I'm not sure I see any argument for BR "winning" this. Thomas may not have provided 10 win seasons, but your basis for this argument is trade vs no trade. And trading him doesn't solve this issue, at all. Trading Thomas would be awful for the Browns right now.

Please cite where I claimed the Browns could trade Thomas straight up for a franchise QB? Right, you can't/won't. What I've said is that he's not the GOAT (as COA/S&L seem to think) and they should have traded JT when the value was there (you'll need to go back a couple of years to find that one). My whole premise has been to move Thomas (when he HAD value, too late now) to add players that would make an actual impact. It's not that difficult.

We're arguing over something that happened TWO years ago....when Denver supposedly wanted Thomas. He has limited value, at his age, so that ship has sailed. I quoted COA, making a POSITIVE comment about Thomas and it turned into one of his dumbass/childish "PWN/DHHHHHHSHSHHHSHHSHSHSHSHHSHHSHSHHWWJWJJEN" fests.

Thomas is still All-Pro. The pick we have gained a few years ago could very well be out of the league by now. We've gotten one first round pick right in 18 years. I wouldn't give him up unless someone offered us something insane.

I don't really have an opinion on whether JT is the greatest lineman of all time. I really don't care. I do know that he is the greatest browns player we've had in a long time. And I'll stand by my stance that trading that away for an extra first round pick-when we've failed and failed and failed at those since forever-would be an absolute mistake.

BR, claiming we would all trade Thomas for a franchise QB is essentially the same thing. Trying to strengthen your argument with that claim insinuates that we are arguing against that trade, which nobody would...but it isn't an option. So, taking that off the table, Thomas definitely has more valuable on Browns than on the market.

Expected, but sucks. That's a huge hit to a solid defense.

I just don't understand why it would have to be homerism to think he was the best LT of all time. He is without question top 5. It's not like anyone was claiming Kyrie to be the best PG, or Kluber to be the GOAT pitcher, or Jim Brown to be the greatest RB. The discussion for JT is valid.

    Munoz
    Jones
    Ogden
    Jones
    Roaf

There are only 5 other guys in the discussion. That's not homerism. Joe ways 40 pounds more than Munoz and faces far more complex defensive schemes, with far more athletic LBs and DL in today's game. Joe has a good 3-5 years left to play at an elite level. You'd have to be a buffoon to not acknowledge he is in the discussion.

Lets get a win today! Next threee are all very possible.

Win would be nice. Not counting on it though

If they don't pull one out of their ass today, the witch hunt for Hue's head is going to heat up. There are only a handful of winnable games on this schedule and, after today, JAX is starting to look like it's not one of them.

Glad to see them start with 2 runs under center.

Well... was a promising drive. Stupid fucking penalties still.

Only the Browns could get called for a pick against the guy who caught the ball. Smh
