This is a fair point. But also have to remember he is a rookie trying to make a name, impress, etc. Caught up in close game in tight playoff race. In a big spot, he pops up. As a rookie, he gets frustrated, and fucks is...as a 5 year veteran, I bet he isn't doing that.

Kluber strikes out the side in the 9th.

Still 1-0. At least tie this up and get him a no decision. Does not deserve a loss.

Damnit if I didn't love CC with all my heart. But, Kluber is my favorite Indian pitcher ever. These last few years he has strung together have been soooo much fun to watch.

EE won the game with his at bat. Down 0-2...fouled off about 6 pitches and drew the walk to setup the rally.

That was fucking awesome. First "magical moment" of the year, imo. Had a ton last year, and Francknas first year...plus the 90s. When the Tribe has memorable years, you usually get a few games like this. Let's hope for a few more!!!

Speaking of CC, the guys on the local radio show were debating whether Kluber was the most underrated/undervalued player in SPORTS, not just baseball.

Kluber is set to make $7.5 million this year while you have guys like Kershaw ($34M), David Price ($30M) and Verlander ($28M) making significantly more. And chew on this one, CC made $25M last year. Other than Kershaw, I take Kluber over any of those other guys in a heartbeat.

To compare apples to oranges, the friggin Browns paid Dwayne Bowe $9M (guarantee) to sit on the sidelines at practice wearing eye black & sweatpants.

Without thinking of other players, I will say yes. Not even just in terms of $ value, but I feel like he doesn't get the same publicity, that he probably would otherwise get in a bigger market.

Also, I still think it was a complete joke that Porcello and Verlander were voted ahead of Klubot for last year's CYA.

They were talking about that too, including his popularity in his own market. They mentioned that he was probably less recognized than even scrub guys like Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye & Delly.

Verlander had a case. Porcello was dumb. I thought voters had realized wins don't matter?? I guess they do in Boston...
