Indians vs. Twinkies - April 17th - 20th - #RallyTogether
-
TBone142 out double for Santana gets 1 of the runs back.
2-1 Twins. -
BRFWow! 43 degrees at the game, while it's 80 in NE Ohio.
Bauer hanging in there, so let's get the bats going. New pitcher for the Twins as I type. -
cat_loverSantana with the RBI tied at 2 and now Brantley walks with the bases loadedand the tribe leads 3-2 with bases still loaded with one out.
-
iclfan2Man, EE, take a pitch from a new pitcher!
-
iclfan2As he then walks Jose to make it 4-2...
-
cat_loverGood at bat by JRam as he draws a bases loaded walk and the tribe leads 4-2.

Nice 3 spot. Bauer coming out for the 7th. -
TBone14Bauer, Logan, Shaw and Miller combine to get out of the 7th (Logan faced one and gave up an infield single). Miller with a strong 8th.
Let's get another run or 2 for Allen. -
TBone14J Ram walk and steal.
Lonnie Double.
Yandy Double.
All with 2 outs and we lead 6-2. -
TBone14Allen with an easy 9th in a non-save situation and we sweep the Twins and are back above .500 and tied for the division lead.
Who understands the save rule? Shouldn't Miller get one? Came on in the 7th in a 2 run game with a runner on and ended the 7th and then pitched the 8th. -
BRFAnd Miller Time for BRF!
Celebrating a sweep and 8-7. -
iclfan2Solid win and pitching by Bauer. On to Chi-town.

No, gotta finish the game. That's basically rule #1 lol.TBone14;1849046 wrote:Allen with an easy 9th in a non-save situation and we sweep the Twins and are back above .500 and tied for the division lead.

cat_loverReps to Bauer. Solid pitching from him. He still had one shake your head inning but he buckled down.

Good for Yan. Misread it.Laley23;1849052 wrote:It was Yan, not Yandy

Yea, I'm an idiot on the save rule. Had Miller completed the game...even though it ended up a 4 run game, he still would have gotten the save because he entered into a save situation. -
BR1986FBGomes actually had a decent series (for him) at the plate.

He did. In his first AB today, he actually hit it well up the middle. But 2nd Baseman was right there shading him.BR1986FB;1849062 wrote:Gomes actually had a decent series (for him) at the plate. -
SonofanumpHas to be MMartinez for the roster spot.
-
iclfan2I think it'll be Diaz. He needs to hit everyday. Been wrong before tho.

I would be stunned if Diaz isn't sent down. He needs to hit and field everyday, not be a utility player.iclfan2;1849090 wrote:I think it'll be Diaz. He needs to hit everyday. Been wrong before tho.

Con_AlmaI put this in the MLB chatter thread too.

The Indians apparently "dangled" $100 million to Lindor before the season started. He wont be a free agent until 2022....and his agent wasn't ready this year to make such a deal. Wow. -
BRFI agree that it will be Diaz.
Martinez is the journeyman here and there guy.
And as has been said by our knowledgeable Tribe posters, Diaz is the young guy who needs to play everyday. -
