Apparently fans are calling to have Charlie Sheen throw the first pitch as wild thing, and he said he would do it. https://twitter.com/charliesheen/status/789218350060666881

    This needs to be done.

Sheen is a known Reds fan. He is awesome and will definitely do it.

Cleveland is so damn happening right now.

Someone called him a white supremacist lol is that true?

More good news, Joe Buck (he's ok but not nearly his Dad) and John Smoltz announcing the World Series. Smoltz is top notch. Calls it like it is and knows his shit.
  • cat_lover
Smoltz is one million times better than Tim McCarver. Fox baseball coverage is pretty solid,TBS who we have had for the Boston and Toronto series not so much.

    Go Tribe.

This would be the greatest first pitch ever. Have him come out the bullpen playing wild thing, comes to the mound turns around puts on the glasses. That place would go nuts

...other than him being a Dodgers fan.

I saw that Sheen agreed to do it if the Indians asked but I would only suggest they ask if they play the Cubs. If they play the Dodgers, my vote for first pitch goes to John Adams.
  • Sonofanump
I vote JR Smith sans shirt, then he is escorted back to the Gund to drain a three.

As cool as it would be to do it big...having him come in from the bullpen in leather jacket, black glasses, haircut and Wild Thing playing...I'd be surprised if the Indians picked him. Maybe before the cocaine and hooker filled craziness the last few years...but I'd bet they'd want to not associate with that.

I think Hammy would be pretty cool. Hargrove? He still fills in from time to time for radio calls. Urban? Lebron on Wednesday? Pass on Thome.

Grover threw out the first pitch Game 2 of the ALCS.

Didn't realize that...pretty cool. What about Lofton?
  • cat_lover
Have Tiernan throw out the first pitch. After several attempts to get the ball out of the basement he is booed off the field by everybody in NEO and by NEO I mean everyone from Maine to Alaska. He hangs his head and spends the rest of his miserable life in the basement.......oh wait he already does that.......nevermind.

    Go Tribe.

No one has disputed that. Currently lLiving in So Cal and the number of times he's attended Dodgers games with Dodgers garb on lends to him liking them also ...wouldn't you say?

Were the Dodger to win another game and make the Series vs. Cleveland, who might you think he would rather see win??? Think he might see a game in LA while sitting with Aston Kucher and wearing his Dodger hat?

Yea. It was a cool moment. Lofton was in a suite for Game 2, as well. They showed him up on the big screen to a big ovation.

If Sandy wasn't a coach...that would be cool. Really, any of those guys would be neat. Omar, Kenny, Thome.

Hammy would be an excellent choice for game 1. That would be awesome.
LeBron or Kyrie for game 2

They just released statement saying "It won't be Sheen. They're looking at former Indian greats. Decision to made soon."
