So who would start game 4??Commander of Awesome;1815369 wrote:Not over Salazar. Him and his 5.26 ERA can sit on the fucking bench in the ALCS (assuming Salazar is 75%+).
Salazar isn't starting this year. Talk of him coming back solely as a reliever for an inning.
Plenty of guys to leave off before Clevinger, who has proven he can come in a tough spot out of the pen and get out of it. -

Brought this post from the ALDS thread. Speaking of detroit, where has classy been? I notice that piece of shit has been hiding from the OC ever since the Tribe extended their win streak on the tigers to 10+ games. Remember when he would gloat about division titles and he all told him it will feel empty in a few years if none of those titles turn into World Series titles?TBone14;1815317 wrote:The amount of Tigers fans in NWO is truly repulsive. I like it when they combine the Tigers with Ohio State football, Duke/Carolina basketball, Cavs/LeBron basketball (but were Go Pistons from up until 2005) and the Dallas Cowboys or Pittsburgh Steelers. -
SportsAndLadyNot sure if talked about or not, but just heard if the Indians beat Toronto, the first game of the World Series would be in Cleveland the same night as the cavs first game where they'd be getting their rings. Pretty cool if it happens.

TBone14Just read it will be Ernie Johnson and Ron Darling for the ALCS call on TBS. I was hoping it was going to be the guys who did the Jays/Rangers series (Brian Anderson and Dennis Eckersley).

This. Plus infinity. He's done an incredible job. Whatever he decides is what is best for the team.HitsRus;1815446 wrote:In Tito I trust. -
TBone14The Jays have announced their next 3.
Game 2- JA Happ
Game 3- Marcus Stroman
Game 4- Aaron Sanchez
In the stats that mean nothing but are strange....the Indians are 22-5 on Fridays this season. That seems oddly incredible but potentially a good omen for tomorrow. -

Yeah, baseball enthusiast here. These late night games are killing me but I love them. I have nothing against the Indians or their fans and never have. Complete heartbreak in the 90's (esp 97) and I love the energy in that park during these games.SportsAndLady;1815574 wrote:Co-signed,

To me the most exciting series would be Cubs vs Blue Jays (love the crazy loudness of fans in Rogers Centre)...but pulling for the Tribe. Dodgers are the most boring team left but would like to see Kershaw get his postseason notch and it would be storybook for Vin Scully. I've also jumped on the Dave Roberts bandwagon for handling pitchers after his gem last night.
I feel the Cubs in 5 games of the NLCS and World Series...Jays maybe take them 6. But it's postseason baseball and it's unscripted. I'll be watching and happy as sleeper after a rare correct prediction. -

I always said if it were up to me it would be Tribe/Reds in the world series, with the tribe winning of course. I don't like most things in Cincinnati, but I respect the fact they are a good baseball town. Although, I am not a fan of GABP, but thats another argument. I have friendly shit talking banter with my Reds friends, but not to the point where I would root against them. The only time I really trolled the reds is when Turdo was posting here. He can go fuck himself.Ironman92;1815586 wrote:Yeah, baseball enthusiast here. These late night games are killing me but I love them. I have nothing against the Indians or their fans and never have. I think the Cubs take it, but the baseball playoffs are a crap shoot. The Blue Jays pitching staff is the least intimidating staff alive in the playoffs. If the Tribe's bats continue to show up I think they should take the series. -
Laley23Ryan Merritt added to ALCS Roster, Giminez left off.
Gives another LHP out of Pen, and means Gomes is the backup...? -

TBone14Handicapping the game/series.
Kluber has given up 7 ER in 10 IP in two starts this year vs Toronto. Bauer on the other hand, has dominated Toronto. 2 ER in 13 IP. A strong 2 run, 8 inning start and 5 scoreless innings out of the bullpen in the 19 inning win.
Tomlin has mixed results. One strong start and then he got rocked during his August slump.
Pumped for tonight. -
