  Yikes,a ton of doom and gloom on here after 1 game, being up 3-1. I'm pretty sure Monday everyone was calling Tito a managing genius, then now he doesn't know what he'sdoing after 1 game? Get out of here. He did it so he could get Kluber back in game 7 if needed. Rolled a dice, didn't get any offensive help, and lost.
  
  Plus add in the bullpen had to pitch a complete game the night before. The odds were more likely Kluber would give you more innings then Merritt to get the pen some rest.

  I think the consensus here is he made the wrong decision with Kluber. This was his first incorrect decision the entire playoffs.

  His hand was kind of forced with the bullpen being taxed in game 3, but they didn't lose last night because of Kluber; they lost because the offense blew.

  The reason he pitched Kluber on short rest is so that he would have a starter for* game 7 if needed.

  I look at it this way, who would you rather have pitching if it came down to Game 7... Kluber or merrit? Response will be well we should have just won it with kluber on full rest in game 6. If you're stud #1 looks you in the eyes and says I'm good to go...you start him. End of story. Blows me away some of you would rather pitch a guy who threw 11 innings this year vs. your #1. If it were between Kluber or Carrasco, yea that's a different story, but not when your other choice was a AAA call up

  Kluber would have pitched game 5, not 6. Kluber also has a history of not pitching that well on short rest. I am not a fan of the move, because our staff is already depleted and now the jays have two favorable pitching matchups. Today's game now feels like a "punt" and I can't see Tomlin continuing his run either. Hopefully I am wrong, but anything can happen in a game 7 if it gets there. This wasn't a normal 3-0 lead considering the circumstances of the depleted pitching staff.
  
  With that being said, our bats just need to show up. Outside of game 3 they have been non existent and they have relied on pitching to win these games. How about our lineup wins this one today? They owe the pitching staff one.

  Agree to disagree on the top paragraph...but the bottom part about the bats x1000. The benefit of yesterday was not using Allen or Miller. If somehow we can get a lead going into the 6th, Allen for 2, Miller for 2.

  He had never pitched on short rest in the majors before so... And he pitched fine. You use your best pitcher in the playoffs as much as possible, especially with only having 2 real starers. Starting Kluber was not the problem here.

  Lol kluber did so terrible yesterday 5 in 4 hits and 2 runs. Yesterday wasn't on him it was on the offense. It was a no brained to pitch kluber yesterday after the bullpen was taxed the night before. One key is torontos best bullpen guys will be going 3 straight games while miller and Allen are rested. Just get it to those 2 with the lead.

  Kluber is the guy if a game 7 happens. Had he pitched game 5 that would be a lesser role. I wouldn't pitch anyone today that is an integral part of the bullpen. They already won 1 game, on the road with Johnny Wholestaff....game 6 or 7, get a lead after 5 and it's over.
  
  I don't like that Toronto has some confidence now and momentum...but I simply do not believe they can win game 6 and 7 in Cleveland.
  
  Managers don't get enough credit in the postseason....John Gibbons isn't going to lead the Jays back from 3-0....and Jays don't have a LeBron and Kyrie to make up for Gibbons.

  Goals for today:
  1)Win
  2)After being up 10-0 in the bottom of 9th, Manship puts one right behind Bautista, then next pitch nail him...just so he knows we were trying to hit him.
  3) Then once on 1st, give him the throw over and Nap puts a hard,nasty slap tag on his face as he dives back.

  I'm optimistic for today. Not much film on Merritt so that could help him get through the lineup the first time.
  
  The other thing...considering the Blue Jays have some right handed mashers, you would think they would rake lefties but they were only 25-20 in games vs lefty starters. Also, they averaged 4.7 runs per game this season but only 4.3 runs in games vs lefties. Team average: .247. Lefty starters: .236. Only 56 of their 206 HR have come off lefty starters.
  
  They did obliterate Cole Hamels in game 1 of the ALDS in their game vs a lefty.
  
  Like I said yesterday and has been mentioned today...just get the lead after 5 and let Miller and Allen figure it out from there. Some run support would be helpful.

  I don't know how you can say kluber isn't good on short rest when yesterday was the first time he's ever done it in his career. He gave up 4 hits. One was a mistake over the plate for a hr and the other run was a bloop single. He really didn't pitch bad at alll. The only reason he was pulled in the 5th was because we had a 3-0 lead and if he absolutely has to pitch game 7 he only three 75-80 pitches.

  Just once I'd like to see Kip, Lindor, Nap, Jram string something together. I'm not saying all 4 need to go deep, but those 4 need to come up big today for left handed Tomlin to have a shot. They need to stop looking for the knockout blow and get back to what they do best which is manufacture runs(cept Nap, hes there to hit the bomb).

  I believe Tomlin is right handed, but I do agree that the top half our lineup has to show up as a whole, and darn soon

  I believe he was referring to Ryan Merritt as a "left-handed Josh Tomlin" due to the fact that he doesn't have premium stuff and tops out at about 89 MPH. He wasn't saying that Josh Tomlin is left handed. At least the way I took it.

  I'm not worried honestly. I'm not going to sit here and question a manager who has led the Cleveland Indians to 6-1 post season thus far and is sitting up 3-1 with 2 games at worst at home.
