Painful to watch at times but luckily the browns pulled out a couple instances that we all have come to love and enjoy out of them. All wins are good of course. Now miami comes to town. Hoping for a saturday night game. Now is when it gets fun and interesting. This may be the last best chance for them with the big three healthy.

Came out on fire and did what they had to do.

Been to many a game but yesterday that wind just went right through me and was the coldest I had ever been.

Came out passing, got their yards, then went to the ground and did it there too. All around a good offensive day and the defense stopped the run which they had to after their first meeting.

Now onto the second round and I would have liked their chances until ben got a bit banged up.

Was reading something today and this was brought up.....

Back when the Dolpins went undefeated they beat the steelers in the playoffs. Miami had to play at Three Rivers even though they were undefeated and of course a better record.

How messed up is this...back then the conference championshio games were rotated from division to division and not the better seed/record!

but I digress. Early report for this weekend is a wintery mix on sunday so it could get really interesting.

Game moved from 1pm to 8:20pm, to NBC's normal Sunday night slot.

Great win! No pressure next week. Might lose by 28 but oh well, get the chance.

Mike Munchak has been phenomenal as the o-line coach. Best line I can remember Pittsburgh having for run and pass

lol--try telling that to the team

I don't get to guest speak often so I probably won't get the chance.

Pressure on Brady and Pats. Steelers have achieved as much as they should have. Playing with house money now. Pats are size able favorites but Steelers are dangerous right now.

Exactly. Going against God-like figures in Belicheck and Brady so I am just happy they made it that far.

Did what they had to do, barely, last night. Wonder ifthe ratings were good enough to make it an every year thing for a night game. I mentioned it when it was announced and heard SHefter report on it this weekend that it could become routine in the WC and div rounds to move the sunday games later. I could see the WC and DIV games be like the Championship sunday with 3 and 630 or so.

Needless to say...need to score TD's. FGs wont beat Brady. If the steelers can stay within 3 TDs I will be happy.

Ah, the "let's pretend the Pats are three touchdowns better even though they struggled with shitty-ass Houston until the fourth quarter" tactic. How enjoyable...

I sit here remembering the first matchup in NE where they drove the field without friction to go up 14-0, got complacent and when Pittsburgh got back to 14-13 they drove easily down for another TD and in early 4th when Pittsburgh clawed back to 20-16....they once again flew down the field for another TD.

I sit here remembering that shitty Landry Jones was playing at QB in that game, the defense was playing a lot worse then than they are now AND that the team was partway into a four-game losing streak at that point.

Yeah, they made it seem easy when they really needed to.

Just can never underestimate the Pats. They did not play well saturday night, yet still won by a good margin. They will be ready for the steelers, no doubt.

This is where this team was expected to be before their losing stretch mid season.

I think it could very well be like last night's game. I just dont think Brady will miss guys like Smith did nor will the Pats drop some big passes in clutch situations.

They were playing like shit on the road and played Cowboys great as part of that streak.

Defense is better and healthier for sure and Pats don't have Gronk...so I love those factors. Bud Dupree has became a pass rush factor. Ben is clearly better than Landry but his throwing these awful interceptions the last several games is troublesome.

Brady and Pats just did whatever they wanted every single time it mattered the last time. I can't erase that without seeing reason to.

I'm guessing 31-20 Pats but know there will be about 50 factors and will watch.

Haley better fucking get it done once they get into FG range and not be obvious. Play action and the Ben pump fakes will be needed.

Think that INT in the EZ was supposed to be a run but he decided to do the quick fade.
Just didnt seem like he as on his game last night, and he will need to deliver against NE

Well we are getting past the AB idiocy of posting that video. Stupid.

In a no bullshit thought of this AFC CHampionship game......

NE/Brady/Belicheck do what they do. Just how they are so you can never count them out. Brady out? No big deal. Gronk done for the season? No big deal. Guys move on, others come on in no big deal.

As great as they are and many people hating them and with them having their way with the steelers over the years I cannot say I hate them at all. I respect the hell out of those guys. Just when you think they cannot over come something they come out even better. I hope Brady plays well into his 40's and does well (just not against the steelers). I like seeing an old dude doing something that is typically for the young as I am in the same boat to a point.

WIth that said, I think the steelers can go into foxborough and win this one. BR cannot get wild and throw his picks. AB and Bell need to have their good games and also someone else on offense will need to come fwd and have a great game. Special teams were much better last week and will need to be good again.

Defensively I am worried that Brady can pick them apart. Just make them work hard for their pts and dont give them anything easy.

I still would project a NE victory because it is a home game and its still brady/belicheck, but I would not be surprised if the steelers come away with a victory.

    What a fucking beatdown.

I was rather confident too, false hopes lol.

They had to play perfect and they played like shit. Awful awful zone coverage on D. Chris Hogan, former fucking D1 lacrosse player, lights them up. So damn typical.

Yeah, I should have known better having any confidence whatsoever.

Wasn't totally surprised in the outcome, but in the defensive gameplan. They need to fix a few things this offseason and if they can and get those weapons back on offense I think they have a chance.

Unless BR retires, which he isn't.

I think they need to look into another RB who can do similar things as Bell to spell him and when he gets injured and suspended. WIlliams is a great change of pace for power, but he is old and when the game plan wsa made for having Bell and he goes down it just fucks the offense. Has to be some back they can get who can flank out as WR. Likely a young guy who can double on ST's as well.

Just frustrating that this window to win it is closing fast, if not already.
