Gardens35Let's do the wave.
Ready.......................Go. -
TBone14Twins have the leadoff man on with a 30 foot basehit.
Guy was running in the grass down the 1st baseline. Miller didn't have an angle to throw.
Tito fired up.

Gardens35Ready now...........the wave is coming back around. I'm up.

iclfan2Good win, great bullpen pitching. Thought this was a loss for sure. Freaking Detroit won too tho. Let's finish this thing up tomorrow with Kluber.

TBone14
Allen went 1.2 yesterday...lol. I thought Plouffe got more of that. Scared for a second.vball10set;1809072 wrote:Miller goes 1.2, he's not a puss like Allen-lol...TRIBE!!!

Laley23I'll be at the game tomorrow. First time seeing Kluber live.
Also, we are in1st place in September...and drew 11k tonight? Wtf, fans! This is my second game in 2 weeks, and I live in North Carolina. -

Yes he did. He pitched the whole 9th inning and then got the 1st 2 outs of the 10th but ran out of steam. McAllister came in and got the last out.vball10set;1809093 wrote:huh? no he didn't -
HitsRusI'll be up in the Terrace Club tonite with some friends.
Hope Kluber can give us some length and give the pen a break. -
TBone14
I don't get it. I can't figure it out. I know school is back but 11k is pathetic.Laley23;1809086 wrote:I'll be at the game tomorrow. First time seeing Kluber live.

Ok, now you're just trolling Allen .vball10set;1809093 wrote:huh? no he didn't -

lol--I was digging on you on my earlier post, but he didn't even pitch yesterday...amirite?Laley23;1809098 wrote:Ok, now you're just trolling Allen . -

No, but at the time of TBones post he did. Since tbone posted his yesterday.vball10set;1809099 wrote:lol--I was digging on you on my earlier post, but he didn't even pitch yesterday...amirite? -

I'm talking about last night's game, Tbone, not Monday night's -

My point was that Miller pitched 1.2 innings and was fine, whereas Allen pitched 1.2 and that was "too much"...my post was a friendly dig at Laley, that's all...moving along...TBone14;1809094 wrote:Yes he did. My point was they both got the same amount of outs. We don't know what would have happened if Miller needed to face another hitter. Mauer just missed a singled to center and Plouffe almost hit one off the wall and tied the game.vball10set;1809102 wrote:My point was that Miller pitched 1.2 innings and was fine, whereas Allen pitched 1.2 and that was "too much"...my post was a friendly dig at Laley, that's all...moving along...
I just don't understand your disdain for Allen. He's been closing games for us for 3+ seasons and is damn good. He's successfully closed down 84 and has blown 14. He has a career ERA of 2.70 and career SO/9 innings of 11.6. -

Guess you're not familiar with the term 'moving along'-lol. Anyway, I don't care what he's done over the last three years, and I don't harbor 'disdain' for the guy--he's a decent closer, but not an elite one. GO TRIBE!TBone14;1809103 wrote:My point was they both got the same amount of outs. We don't know what would have happened if Miller needed to face another hitter. TBone14Just saw this...Brian Shaw has thrown 17 straight scoreless innings and hasn't allowed a run 30 of his last 31 innings. 1.19 ERA since June 17.
Our bullpen as a whole is on fire. -
iclfan2
Agreed. But I'm not relying on Armstrong or "Only can throw a fastball" McCalister in any sort of important game situation. Otero has been a great pickup.TBone14;1809131 wrote:Our bullpen as a whole is on fire.
