    Friday night.

No Missy Franklin on this relay. Completely shocked that she has fallen off so much.

Ledecky is going to have to do her thing in this relay

The Americans are so damn good on the turn

    Ledecky is a beast.

I've already called her ugly, I think you are going to far.

    Lol.

She's just ridiculous. Basically went from down 1 second to ahead by 1 second in just over 100M.

He didn't need cupping hickies for his first 18 or so Gold medals, either. It's bullshit quack therapy. Surprised Phelps falls for it.

She was down .30 after 50m but after that turn she popped up in the lead and never looked back.

Tough double tonight with 100 fly semi at 10:01, then the 200 IM final only 30 minutes later....hopefully he doesn't have to go too hard in the semi, but Im sure he wants to be in lanes 4 or 5, so he would have to be a top 2 qualifier

I think the 200IM final is actually first, then the 100 Fly semi will be like 30 minutes later. At least he'll be fresh for the final, but swimming a good time in the 100 Fly right after that will be insanely tough.

You're right, I mixed up which race was first. Glad the final is first as opposed to the semi, regardless of the event.

I've incidently caught all three of Sweat/Fendrick's beach volleyball matches and they've been pretty disappointing for the #13 team. Lost first two matches and losing to #24 Russia right now. If they lose today they're done.

I don't really follow Judo, but I remember Kayla Harrison becoming the first US Judoka to win a gold medal last olympics. She just repeated. She is a beast. She was molested by her first judo coach and overcame that to become a 2x gold medalist. She is from Middletown, OH.

I wish my father got me into Judo when I was younger. I would have helped immensely in wrestling (insert "you still would have been a runner-up jokes).

You guys all don't care, but Simone Biles just won the gold in the All Around. Ally Raisman wins silver. "Sweep" for the Americans as they only allow 2 from each country in the finals.

Biles was a machine and Raisman very solid each time I watched them. Biles is best women's gymnast in the world so I do care but how NBC has played the gymnastics in their telecasts have been awful...and not a fan of going away from the 9.90 and 9.85, now a great performance is 15.8?

Biles kicked ass this olympics and representing USA. Now bring on the track.

Ryan Murphy follows up Gold in the 100M Backstroke with Gold in the 200M Back as well. Impressive performances for the 21 year old.

Americans aren't choking at all. All rising to the challenge.

I read this on tapatalk as the last post, and immediately just assumed iggy posted the one race where an American didn't medal, and called for the collapse of the swim program and how they're all choking lol.
