Rudeshia ran 49.28 for the first 400m in 2012 for the London Olympics. Kip' yesterday in the Rio Olympics ran 49.23. I don't know if Kip really was just a rabbit or simply trying Rud's same strategy.

First thought was that he was setting up Rudisha.

She did leave her lane, but it occurred beyond the finish line after falling

    Anyone paying attention to boxing?

Saw this video on Reddit today and started doing some reading about the Russians paying off the judges for medals.

Apparently this Irish boxer, who is really, really good at the amateur level, and won an Olympic bronze in 2012 and a Gold medal at the world championships last year, lost in a decision to a Russian boxer who no one in the media or analysts had winning this fight.

There was a heavyweight Russian boxer who was "given" a controversial win..and also a female US boxer who lost to a Russian boxer even though most had her winning.

    Fucking Russians man.

I just don't understand what he was doing. He hurdled 5 feet early and his landing foot went through middle of hurdle.

I thought he had a leg cramp or twitch, it looked like he was not running a correct stride coming out of the blocks.

Wondering with all that contraversy about the woman who won the 1500, if the american who came in four might be a medalist after advanced drug test a few years from now.

I don't know if he jumped early or late. Kind of looks like he simply didn't see it. My guess, he hasn't competed very much on a blue track and had trouble seeing the hurdle.

Why would he even do this? Was he that desperate for the attention phelps was getting?

    Such a wtf story

I have no idea, but the whole thing sounded fishy--especially when he said he never reported it to the authorities or to the USOC officials on site. I see no reason for lying about something like this--what would he have to gain???

Kyrie getting torched by the Argentinean Delly.

Did those guys maybe get rolled by some pro's and wanted to find a way to spin it in their favor? Or gamble a big chunk of money away?

A red flag for me was when one of the guy said he didn't get onto the ground, basically telling the 'cop' to fuck off and then had the weapon put to his head......something about that raised my BS meter.

(also goes against what many talk about in the US about just do what the cop tells you to do and you wont get shot).

Yeah, almost looked like someone who was running hurdles for the very first time! Looked very tight with no agility.

Yes, after the fall I noticed his chop feet- jump over hurdle technique, and thought "Imposter ?".

I've always hated the way he plays, but agree totally.
