You never know but that seems about a tier and a half lofty.

    Exciting ass times in Cleveland

It's hard to say yet. Many prospects never make it, and some of the players the Yanks picked up are still in the low minor leagues.

It took Miller a bit of time to become as valuable as he is...neither prospect may ever make it to AS status and if they do it may not be with the Yankees. But Yankees are doing what is needed.

They deal Beltran, you guys interested there? He's a postseason guy.

Lucroy better sign his damn no trade clause.

As I typed that, reports now that he did veto it. If true, he's a piece of shit. You're playing in Milwaukee douche.

    Fuck it all to hell.

What a fucking *****. Why would he veto that?
  • Con_Alma
The Indians front office is moving on from him. Although there are reports out there that appeals are being made to Lucroy, it's sounds like the Indians have decided that if he didn't want to be in Cleveland then they aren't going to beg him to come. They are going after other options at this point.

He supposedly wanted the 2017 option removed. Not trading prospects for a rental

    Holy Hell WTF?

I said all along that Cleveland may not sound great but he's in damn Milwaukee.

    Fuck Lucroy then.
  • Sonofanump
They still need a C. Is Kurt Suzuki the next best option? I'd take him, but trading within the division is always dicey.

A guy to keep an eye on is rupp from phili. 26 years old, is signed through 2021. Hitting .300 10hrs 31 rbis wouldn't be a bad consolation to lucroy

I makes sense for Lucroy to void the trade for his long term benefit. But, could play for a winner this year and worry about that later if you REALLY want to win.

I get it, but it sucks. Would've been a huge piece.
  • iclfan2
I still don't get it. If he stays in Milwaukee he is still stuck there for 2017. And the Tribe weren't giving up all of those prospects for a part time catcher. Sure he would play first and DH occasionally but I doubt that hurts his "long term" benefit. And he would be on a contender. I'm assuming the real issue was he wanted more money for 2017 and the Indians told him to shove it.

Tribe strike first! 2-0 on a Kipnis bases loaded single. Still guys on 2nd and 3rd with one out.

What the heck happened last night? Cannot believe Lucroy actually voided a trade to stay in Milwaukee, lol good luck not making the playoffs ever in that division

Y'all must lead much more exciting lives than me ha. Solid Sweep today. Maybe we'll have a Miller sighting tomorrow
  • Ironman92
Lucroy was told he wasn't going to be the regular catcher but instead be DH and play first base.

I'm hearing this and that would make some sense.
  • Ironman92
Brewers people were saying earlier in this season if Lucroy would be open to moving to 1st base to preserve and have a longer career they would entertain signing him long term.
