You going to wait until they even play a game yet? Or....no?

Will be interesting to see whose numbers fall off and if they're ok with it. Conventional wisdom says it will be Klay or Durant... Curry will still more than likely get his shots. I don't think Durant is capable of not getting his touches, so it'll be a problem if it's him. I don't know enough about Klay to know if he can handle limited touches... i'm assuming, like with most shooters, he wont do well with limited touches. How will his personality affect the team though. Bosh was ok with his numbers going down, and he turned into a defensive monster. Klay doesn't have that ability to be a defensive monster. If they start losing early, it could turn into a dumpster fire quickly.

Is anyone on Golden State going to play defense?

Golden State lost the Finals this year on offense (and the Cavs huge defensive turnaround at the end of the series). Their philosophy has always been to outscore you and worry about the rest later. That's why they added the best scorer in the NBA to their team.

uh they have a top 10 defense...

They will still have Green, Iguodala. Livingston, Speights and Barbosa. All play good defense.

The real loss is going to be their true strength and that's their depth. They are going to lose Bogut, Barnes, Ezeli..at least.. and that's huge. They also have no true big man anymore. Green plays big, but TT handles him on the board. Yeah having KD is nice, but some scorer is going to suffer from that.. and you just lost depth... they wont be as good next year.

I mean Zaza is a true big man.

Also, KD proved in the playoffs that he is an elite level defender. They will be just fine defensively. Plus they add Mike Brown, who is great on that side of the ball when that is all he has to focus on. Horrible head coach, great assistant.

eh... zaza isnt near the rim protector bogut is. what you saw in the finals is what happens when a big guy can drive plays them without bogut. Clips and Spurs both will cause issues for them.

No shit. Have you seen their lineup!!!??!!!1!!??/!???
  • Azubuike24
They didn't lose the series on defense...

Sure they did. With bogut out the Cavs had a field day at the rim. Don't underestimate his impact on D.
  • Azubuike24
Or did the Cavs win the series on defense? That's what I took from it. They really stifled GSW in the last 3 games like really nobody had done to them all year.

The Cavs D didn't get any better the last 3 games.. sure they played really good D. But their offense changed in those last 3 games after Bogut got hurt.

A little early to say that. Those guys are HoFers, only Durant is a HOF on GSW.

They will still have .... Iguodala....
Is this correct, I thought he had to be cut or was FA.

I guess 2 MVPs probably gets him in. But if he retired today? I don't know I feel it would be close. He certainly doesn't have career numbers to say yes.

Last time classy made predictions about the Warriors...

Before Game 7 of the WCF..

Not to mention he talked shit by bringing up 1964/52 years after cavs lost game 1.

Meanwhile the Indians are now 10-0 against the greatest baseball team in the world with all those division titles!!! [emoji23]

I'm pretty sure that Classy makes his predictions by basically thinking "Man all these guys on a video game team! I'd be unbeatable!!!!" and then acting like that transfers over to real life seamlessly.

Or he just repeats exactly what hot take ESPN tells him. "Print the shirts" is directly from the russillo show. Classy is the prime ESPN target, which consists of dumb people who can't think for themselves.
