Browns at Seahawks Footwedge Style

You were always a "short bus" kind of kid, weren't you? You couldn't possibly find a post where I said or wanted Manziel to fail because I don't care about a 3-10 team or whatever they are. You were probably all over Tim Couch's dick or Weeden or Quinn and all the other nonsense they've drafted. Good luck with your next flavor of the month bro.Footwedge;1769551 wrote:If the Cowboys offered their number one pick for JFF, Haslam would laugh in their face. Face it dude...you and your ilk were dead wrong an Manziel. All the yappers around here were complaining about not drafting Derek frieking Carr. There is no comparison...Manziel is much better. -

Too bad you're overlooking the fact that the Niners have NO pass rush and the Seahawks will be all over Manziel like flies on shit. Sherman won't have to cover anyone for "5-6 seconds."Footwedge;1769486 wrote: We saw vintage Manziel ad libbing and picking up huge chunks of yards ala Fean Tarkenton. Nobody...including Richard Sherman can cover NFL receivers for 5-6 seconds. Nobody. As Gary Danielson said in the A&M Alabama game..."you just can't coach that". He's right...you can't coach that. That ability, and his incredibly strong and accurate arm is simply put, a lethal combination.
The fact that the Browns O-Line dominated the LOS in the run game on Sunday, which they haven't done all year, tells you all you need to know about just how bad the Niners defense is. -

LOL. You're right, that was butchered beyond the pale. I apologize. I have a keyboard that sticks and misses. Also I can't correct typos after the fact...don't know if itBRF;1769531 wrote:If you want to be taken seriously, you've got to do better than this.
That's worse than Belly on a bad day.
s my old POS computer or the website's software. With that said, no excuses and I will do better.
As for being taken seriously, I doubt if the typing has anything to do with that.
I'm obviously very opinionated and like everyone else, don't get it right every time, that's for sure. I remember hoopin and hollerin whenever the tribe signed Michael Bourn. Disaster. I thought trading away pitching prospects Pomeranz and White was a horrible deal for Ubaldo. The prospects haven't done shit around the league, but Ubaldo was garbage for all but one month, so I would call that one a wash.
It wasn't very popular whenever I said the Cavs were making a huge mistake in bringing in an over the hill, washed up Antawn Jamison during the Cavs playoff chase. Jamison was even worse than what I dreamed he would be and absolutely ruined the team chemistry along the way.
Then there was Pettine's first training camp when I said that Dion Lewis was the Browns best running back and everyone did their knee slapping when he was cut in favor of Tate, West, and Crowell. The same Dion Lewis that was averaging 4.8 ypc for the world champs this year and probably leading the league for running backs catching the ball. Who got the last laugh?
And then there is Johnny. It's pretty damn obvious to anyone with even half a brain that this kid is really special. -
Footwedge
Fair enough. Tune in Sunday and you and I will both find out, won't we? Manziel had no problem in evading Alabama's number one ranked defense in Tuscaloosa...I think he will do just fine. He'll do a lot better than the lead footed Austin Davis and Josh McCown, that's for sure.BR1986FB;1769562 wrote:Too bad you're overlooking the fact that the Niners have NO pass rush and the Seahawks will be all over Manziel like flies on shit. Not going to help one bit that Hartline is done. Johnny is going to need help around him, that's for sure. -

So you go from Browns winning to covering the spread. Great confidence you have. I'll bet a 100 on the Seahawks, straight up. You take Browns. Since that is all you have been saying since Sunday.Footwedge;1769509 wrote:Another hundy this Sunday....Browns are plus 14.5. I'll take JFF, the Browns and the points. Manziel is athletic but you're overestimating his athleticism. He's not as fast/elusive as you think.
Seattle has 32 sacks and 21.5 of those are split between their three pass rush specialists.
Again, a) the Browns O-Line won't be blocking a Niners pass "rush" that is playing out the string while the Hawks' are on a playoff push and b) Manziel isn't nearly as athletic at the pro level (translating college athletes speed vs pro athletes speed) as he was against defenses in college where over half the opposing roster didn't sniff an NFL field when their collegiate days ended.
I can tell you how I think this will play out.
The Browns defense will go back to their bumbling selves as the Seahawks feed off their crowd. Seattle will go up a couple of scores, forcing the Browns to abandon any early game plan (perhaps trying to continue to establish Crowell after last week) they had in place. Manziel will be forced to throw more than anticipated. Seattle's front four will pin their ears back, causing havoc for the young QB, who will be running for his life most of the afternoon.
For your sake, and those who have stock in Kleenex, you'd better hope Manziel doesn't leave the field on a cart. -
Footwedge
LOL. This is also Bruce Hooley's hope as well. Speaking of Hooley, the guy just can't handle Any Manziel success. Like I said, this has been just brutal for the haters. In today's intro, Hooley was all fumed off at the media for this Johnny this and Johnny that. He said it's time to rename the Browns the Cleveland Johnnies. Priceless. Bhahahaha. Damn, life is good.BR1986FB;1769616 wrote:.

Today on the animal hose the 2 ass clown haters kept talking about how much better McCown has played this season versus Manziel. LO effin L. -

Come from the LHShemp school of reading comp skills I see. I think I made it very clear in my OP. Oh, and the only reason that you wpn your bet last year is because Pope Mike the 23rd wants to run a convent instead of trying to win football games.
Last chance Dorkie...I'll take the Browns plus the 14.5. Take it or leave it. -

Considering Footwedge is discussing my Reading Comprehension School based on the following excerpt from the other thread, you're just fine Durkie. Footwedge is just mad he was denied application to my school of proper reading comprehension because he is too stupid.
Footwedge;1768780 wrote:This is Manziel's first year of actually playing. Compare Manziel's 88.4 QB rating versus the "franchise quarterbacks..and then tell me who and who can't play. Umkay?
Carr...76.6
Bridgewater...65.2
Winston....85.6
only Mariota has better first year numbers.
And....as I pointed out above, Manziel has done it without a line, without a running game...AND he did it playing 3 playoff teams on the road. Not to mention the 3 touchdown passes dropped in the Steeler game and the one dropped touchdown pass in the Bengal game. Catch those balls and where would his rating be?
I get it. You don't think he can play. You are wrong. Move along. You and your contingency can continue your crusade of chasing the franchise quarterback out of town.lhslep134;1768783 wrote:According to Footwedge's preferred stat, QBR:

Marcus Mariota 66.34
Jameis Winston 61.88
Teddy Bridgewater 60.83
Derek Carr 60.31
Johnny Manziel 54.2
Considering you said this:
what do you have to say about Manziel being so far behind his peers in QBR?Footwedge;1768797 wrote:Did they teach you how to read in law school?? LOL. If you actually read what I wrote I said that this ai actually Manziel's first year of playing. 5 quarters last year is irrelevant and I made that very clear up above.lhslep134;1768799 wrote:Those numbers are from this year. So what response do you have to Manziel being far behind his peers in your pet stat, QBR, this year?lhslep134;1768803 wrote:
So you read my post that references Winston's and Mariota's QBR, neither of which existed last year, and inferred I was posting stats from last year and not this year?
I mean I know you're dumb, but that is like preschool level bad as it pertains to reading comprehension. -
lhslep134As you can all see, if Footwedge is questioning your comprehension then you're invariably right and he's wrong. And if he makes a reference that you came from my school of Proper Reading Comprehension, then you're unquestionably right.

Johnny played better last week. His poor decision making and weak arm showed up on his interception. Hopefully the decision making improves. The arm strength is always going to be an issue with him.Footwedge;1769653 wrote:LOL...Can't take the Johnny success I see. It's gonna be OK dude...trust me. My posting is accurate, telling and on point. Manziel has outperformed Bridgewater, Carr, and Winston's first year of playing. -

LOL. Johnny been ballin...and he will continue to do so. Has a stronger arm than Drew Breez. Dan Fouts knows a little bit more about quarterbacks than you do and during the Steeler game he was raving about Manziel's gun.Al Bundy;1769672 wrote:Johnny played better last week. Your problems with misery at the QB position will soon be solved Footwedge. McShay predicts the Browns will draft Lynch next year.but Lynch has the physical skills to develop into a good starting NFL QB, which Cleveland needs. -

BR1986FBI heard (92.3) where apparently Manziel & Gordon talk on a daily basis and have developed some kind of "bond." IMO, worse thing possible if Gordon wants to get his career back on track. Keep it a business relationship because I think JFF will drag him down like an albatross.
