2016 Browns Season Thread

I said this team would be lucky to win 3 games this year before the preseason...and was laughed at. Some clowns thought 5-8 wins. You guys were right...this is a 0 MAYBE 1 win team
  • Commander of Awesome
I bet we win more than 1 game.

What I'm more upset with is how we lost. Undisciplined football. Hue Jackson called a fucking awful game. Got sooo fucking cute with the trick plays, just an AWFUL AWFUL FUCKING AWFUL fake punt, and zero commitment to the running game. 12 carries to the starting RB when at one point it was 10-3 isn't good enough. This was a winnable game, that Hue let his team fail mentally. Big fat fucking F to Hue for this one.

Agreed. Hue was bad. First game jitters maybe? Who knows but he sucked.

I definitely think they'll win more than 0 games lol I'd say they'll finish 4-12 with the majority of games being played by mccown. Already seeing rg3 got hurt. What a fragile bum.

Did like what I saw from Nassib, possibly the lone bright spot

Kizer is already shooting up the draft boards and some even have him as the top QB. I personally would take Kizer over Watson. Big, smart, strong arm QB that just has that it factor for big moments.

I have a hard time trusting ND QB's in the NFL. But Kizer does look legit

What big moment has kizer excelled in? Lol

Made me lol but also hope it happens

Browns had the second overall pick with a chance to take a good QB, and instead they passed to move back down and continue to go without a QB. And we wonder why we are always bad lol
Time will tell (lol), I am just not sold on Carson. I don't think he will be that great. I would take that trade every time, especially since the Eagles are projected to have a mediocre season. Now if they trade down when they have the opportunity for a QB next year I will be pissed.

It was a winnable game and you could feel the momentum going to the Browns until lolsnap. They fell apart after that. Also, the fake punt was fucking pathetic and 3 free points for the eagles.

Who laughed at you? I am pretty sure 1 poster said the browns could win 8 games and we all said lol no.

Agreed. Gotta find some individual bright spots to build on I suppose.

Losing a close game to Texas?

He has had multiple game winning or go ahead drives last year and even the Texas game brought them back. This has nothing to do with ND. The kid is talented as hell and might even be the number 1 QB taken in next years draft if he comes out. There's not many flaws in his game.

Well when you say he played well in big games, it does have something to do with ND lol because I don't remember ND being in that many big games. That's why I asked.

Thread title needs updated. It's no longer the offseason.

    Hope this helps.

I meant big moments in the games. Bringing his team back, go ahead or game winning drives etc.

I have heard that there are definitely some analysts that like Kizer more than Watson right now. It's early though. The RB class should be stacked as well. Ha Week 1 draft talk is awesome... smh

    yeah, pretty idiotic
  • iclfan2
I wouldn't call it idiotic. I'd call it sad as fuck that they are terrible again, while other used to be shitty teams in Oak and Jax have actually improved

Browns won the top 3 pick battle. Eagles will be a top 10 pick.

Both Watson and Kizer are spread QB's . Both will probably bust at the next level

Probably the only time I'll agree with KnightRyder.

I especially do not want Kizer. He would be almost as bad as JFF.
  • iclfan2
Kizer is at least 6-4 230, while Watson is 6-2 210. I want a large QB, lean leads to durability issues. I'm not saying I WANT either, just saying if they want a QB.
  • Laley23
I've stood next to Kizer. He seems 6'5" and built.
  • SportsAndLady
Whoever they pick, better be a fucking QB.

Stop me if you've heard this before...it is now being believed that RGIII's shoulder injury isn't minor...could be a "serious" injury. Can't make this stuff up.

Personally I like McCown...just has to stay healthy too.
