Browns vs Jets

I thought JFF did alright considering he had little or no reps last week in practice. I'm not going to pass judgement on him until I see him a half a dozen games in. I'm assuming that he'll be QB'ing against the Titans. Looking to see some improvement....

Teams had no tape of him...if anything, he should have dominated. They were able to stop him without seeing any tape. Now they know what he can and cannot do. Dude's going to be a disaster this year, imo.

I still expect to win the next 2.

So fuckin typical of a clown with blinders on. Manziel did a ton of good things...including picking up a bunch of 3rd and longs with absolutely no running game and poor pass protection. He ran for 75 yards on 7 carries if you include the 2 runs called back, He had 2 touchdown passes if Hawkins drags his foot...like all pro receivers are taught to do. Dominate because the other team wasn't prepared for him? That's one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard on this POS website. Take a bow.

There were some negatives on Johnny which is to be expected. That's why you play him. He needs to learn how to throw a back shoulder pass correctly he missed on several occasions,,including his interception. He is to blame for his first fumble...really bad on his part. The second fumble falls squarely on the shoulders of the o' line as he was stripped sacked ftom behind rolling to his right. Great job out of all world Joe Thomas on that play. There is no quarterback in the NFL that holds onto that ball.

    You are truly fucking retarded.

Once again you have shown you know absolutely nothing about sports, particularly football.

Did you see Mariota's first game? Did you read how the Titans didn't run any of the plays they used in Game 1 in the preseason because they didn't want to give Tampa tape of what they were going to do?

Mariota dominated because Tampa wasn't prepared. The same exact thing happened in RG3's first game; the Redskins didn't run anything to give away how they would use RG3, and RG3 dominated the Saints because they were unprepared.

So if you think a perfectly valid, rational, and explanatory statement is one of the dumbest comments you have ever heard on here, what does that say about you? If that question makes your brain hurt because it requires some comprehension, I'll answer it for you: it means you are a dim-witted imbecile. You're so dumb it's truly unfortunate that you've contributed to our species' gene pool.

Manziel is simply THE WORST QB in the league. PERIOD.

What about playoff/prime time Andy Dalton?

This. Trying to justify Manziel as better than he actually was by saying "Well if this would have happened or if he would have done this then..." Who cares?
(INB4 something about us liking penis and hating Manziel)

You cite one example of a rookie quarterback having a great day....yeah against that juggernaut Tampa Bay team. What an ass you are. Apparently you forgot about my thread awhile back discussing the career starts of Manning, Favre, Bradshaw, Steve Young, Phil Sims and many more Hall of famers who started out really bad for a whole year...not just 10 quarters.

But you, Fuckstickfromlowry, And Sleepingitoff have it all figgered out after 10 quarters. LOL.

Pettinne is an ass in naming McCown the starter. If he loses with McCown, he's fired. If he loses with Manziel he will keep his job until Johnny gets it all together and becomes a top 10 quarterback...ala Fran Tarkenton.

Based on 10 quarters. Hope you are a little smarter in your work life. But I doubt it.

Brian Sipe led the cardiac kids to the brink of a super bowl...derailed by the fluke red right 88 in 1980. Sipe should have "dominated" in his first 9 quarters as Shit and Ladies claims. Sipe had a quarterback rating of 47 his first year and 54 his second year. A lot of similarities between Sipe and Manziel stature wise (Manziel's a little bigger), arm strength and accuracy.... except Johnny will gain you 77 yards on 7 carries....Sipe was as slow as a toad.

The fans of his town don't deserve a good quarterback. They want to run a kid out of town no matter how much promise he has. Really pathetic. I can only imagine how good he'd be if they didn't have the 32nd rated rushing attack.

This team is going nowhere this season...yet somehow, they would rather play a 36 year old journeyman at quarterback....and the fan base is A-OK with it.

    Bring on the Cavs,

I enjoyed watching Sipe play, but he never even won a playoff game. "Brink of a super bowl" might be a stretch to describe him.

Considering how you started gushing about how you were right all along and how great he was looking after one good possession on Sunday, I don't think you have any room to talk.

Manziel named the starter for Sunday. We fucking lost.

I think you might mean "reignite", as last season's playoffs showed it was in full bloom.
