That wasn't my intention of the post. Anybody on a given night can be the best player in a game. OKC is the only team in the NBA that has 2 guys who can be better than GSW best, even when they play great. That is the reason I think they have a chance this series.Mulva;1795982 wrote:Thompson best player on the court in the first half tonight.
Currys best is equaled by Westbrook and Durant. Maybe even surpassed by them. Not many guys in the league have an individual game ceiling like those 2. That was my point. -
Commander of Awesomelolarriors.
I legit saw 3 obvious travels not called on both sides. Klay had a legit 6 step drive and then RW had an OBVIOUS travel not called in favor of a TO. I hate the Warriors so I'm glad he got the call, but jesus fuck refs. That is fucking pathetic to not see/call that. -
Laley23To be fair, it's the NBA...no travel is ever called, why would anyone expect that one to be called?
Also, who is to say he wasn't yelling "timeout" before he even picked up his dribble, or the coaches weren't calling for one? -
Ironman92OKC played their asses off and are making quite the run. I still can't see this going past 6. GSW in 5 still wouldn't surprise me.

I'm pretty sure you said word for word the best player on the court every game is either Curry, Westbrook, or KD. I said green or Thompson could be and you disagreed lolLaley23;1795993 wrote:That wasn't my intention of the post. Anybody on a given night can be the best player in a game. Coaches can't call for live ball timeouts I thought?Laley23;1795995 wrote:To be fair, it's the NBA...no travel is ever called, why would anyone expect that one to be called?

The NBA doesn't call travels because they basically give them 3 steps. But westbrooks he dragged his foot nearly an entire foot lol should have been an easy travel call. -

I did say that, but was not my thought process. What I said made sense in my head. When you said green or Thompson could be best, I said only if Durant and Westbrook play bad. I think you know me well enough to know I'm not stupid enough to think only 3 players can have the best game when 20 will play.SportsAndLady;1796009 wrote:I'm pretty sure you said word for word the best player on the court every game is either Curry, Westbrook, or KD. SportsAndLadySteven Adams was asked about how it was chasing their bigs and wings players around the perimeter all game and he said it was like chasing little monkeys.
Black SJW's are on the prowl. -

I kinda figured that wasn't what you meant but it's tough to figure out what you truly meant from words on a message board lolLaley23;1796012 wrote:I did say that, but was not my thought process. sleeperOKC might be the better team. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they win this in 5 games.

This is how I feel as well. OKC with RW and Durant may be able to trump Curry and the trash rats.Laley23;1795993 wrote:That wasn't my intention of the post. lol, that's fair. One of those cases where what I was saying made total sense in my head, then I reread it and thought, well fuck that's confusing.SportsAndLady;1796027 wrote:I kinda figured that wasn't what you meant but it's tough to figure out what you truly meant from words on a message board lol -
Midstate01Coaches can call timeouts in the nba.
The travel didn't matter because klay was fouling him the whole way up the court.
Steph said after the game his knee isn't 100% but it's tolerable. His knee wasn't making 1 handed passes for turnovers in the 4th quarter. His knee seemed fine when he was posing for 10 seconds after a 3rd quarter 3. I like steph but I don't want to see excuses from him. You're the unanimous mvp, don't make excuses.
If lebron had 3 points in a 4th quarter and more turnovers than points, media would be absolutely killing him today.

Lebron is the best player to play the game. Curry is a one-dimensional point guard who plays no defense and has two good seasons on record at the age of 28. It's no surprise if Lebron had a 3 point 4th quarter the media would eat it up but with Curry no one cares. I expect Curry to fade back into irrelevance once he gets absolutely CLOWNSTOMPED in the NBA finals. His "luck" will run out soon enough and he will be back to being a nobody in the NBA much like his predecessor Steve Nash.Midstate01;1796033 wrote:Coaches can call timeouts in the nba.

sleeperAlso, Curry is always about excuses. I lost all respect for him after Delly completely shut him down in the finals last year and he didn't even give credit where credit is due. I can't wait for the Cavs at full strength to humble this guy and his cocky shithead teammates.

Commander of AwesomeJesus the hottaeks are in full force now. Anyone remember OKC Spurs game 1 last series? It was a nice win for OKC, but lets not blow this out of proportion. Also if OKC DO end up beating the GSW, they will have beaten 2 of the best teams the NBA has seen in a long time on the way to the finals. Wouldn't love the EC Champion's chances in that series.

I've always been under the impression that NBA officials would rather non-call the travel, foul, etc unless they have too. Much more "no foul" if shot goes in, late whistle if miss in the NBA than any other league.Midstate01;1796033 wrote: The travel didn't matter because klay was fouling him the whole way up the court. -

Commander of AwesomeJust saw that the draft Lotto is tonight, forgot about that.
Draft got me thinking about 2011 draft, which was an excellent draft class. Lot of high picks still playing in the playoffs.
If you could pick between Kanter, Valanciunas, TT, or Biyombo who would you take? (All picked within 5 picks of each other). -
MulvaI think Jonas would have to be #1 at this point. Kanter is too much of a defensive liability.
