They will until Miami, New York, and Buffalo stop sucking ass.

Buffalo is loaded everywhere except QB. They could be a big surprise this year

I mean, for fuck's sake? Isn't there anyone better? Last year they pretty much missed their entire offense in the playoffs and he still barely saw the field.

The AFC East should be strong this season. I think it will come down to the last few weeks for NE, assuming Brady does indeed miss 4 games.
  • Azubuike24
    Strong, or competitive?

Depending on NE, I could see it being competitive, but not having one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the conference. Especially when other divisions have at least 1 shitty team to beat up on.

Will he even make the team? I figured Little would have been out of the league by this season.

I expect Miami to be pretty decent. Still think NE is the team to beat, even without Brady.

In that division, the Jets are a complete shitshow again, but the other challengers to NE at least have potential. I mean, Miami seems to be a place where they're stuck in neutral at "decent" at the moment, but depending on how things roll, decent can be good enough to sneak into the playoffs. The Bills are intriguing because they are good at non-QB stuff and it'll be interesting to see if Rex can work magic now that he's out of the NY shitshow...or if he's going to bring it to Buffalo because he was at the middle of that debacle. If it's the former, they could be a good challenger to NY, since if anything, he's shown to be good at overcoming shoddy QB play with a strong overall team.

There is always a team every year that seems to gain all this hype despite proving anything from previous seasons. Buffalo is a good candidate for that team this season. The defense is going to need to grind out every game and try to hold teams under 20 points to win. Even with Lesean McCoy the Bills offensive line was ranked near dead last https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/01/08/2014-pff-offensive-line-rankings/. Top that off with a QB battle of Cassel/Manuel and you have a recipe of an offense completely holding a team back. I actually think the Dolphins will be pretty good this year. The addition of Suh is going to improve their defense immensely, and I think Jordan "boozer" Cameron will hep out Tannehill. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Dolphins take the division tbh.

I'm interested to see how Garoppolo steps in, though. I'm sure in typical New England fashion he will be amazing and they'll go 4-0.

I think Cameron will play 5 games. Fuck him.

As for Bills, you're forgetting ppll JO-ing to their WRs as well. ZOMG they have Watkins (who half this board wanted the browns to draft smh), Harvin, Woods. Pretty solid wepaons, too bad their oline sucks and their QBs are worse than the Browns.

They have a strong defense. I'll wait until week four or five to start believing in their offense.
Not sure if they win outright but no doubt are one of the top teams in the AFC East.

Whoaaaaa way to go out on a limb and say something of consequence. Only 4 teams in the the division.

I don't think its a done deal yet that Brady misses any games and even if he does they still win the division going away and Dolphins might snag a Wild Card. I can hate on the Bills now with Foot Joy at the helm. But most of my vile venom will be saved for you know who up on the banks of Lake Mistake, I really think we are going to witness the complete and utter implosion of a professional sports team beyond the likes of anything we've ever seen before.

Browns will be that playoff team

Sports Center just showed a graphic that the Clowns are 85:1 to win the Conference. 30:1 to win the Division with only 4 teams in it. #biggestjokeever

Interesting, I figured the odds would be much higher.

Sounds like easy money to me.

Arian Foster with groin injury. Could go on short term IR, which I'm not sure what that entails. Is it half season?

As opposed to all the divisions with more or less than four teams?

That Norris Division is going to be a bitch.

If he makes the team, it's truly sad that they couldn't find some practice squad players or UDFA's who are better. Either that, or he's somehow got the coaching staff fooled. Everything fell into place for him last year. Every WR on the roster missed at least a game, Green missed 3 or 4 and 2 other WR's on the depth chart ahead of him were out for the year. Eifert missed the whole year, Bernard missed a few games and Gresham was banged up for the last game and the playoffs.

Greg Little STILL didn't contribute. I mean, Rex Burkhead played more WR than he did...

They prob broght him on bc he knows the browns/raiders play books. Need every edge you can get when facing those powerhouse teams.

I'll bet he doesn't survive first cuts. They have a few promising UDFA receivers that hopefully get a longer look than him.
