I guess I'm just swayed by the years where Mariners and Brewers fans had players at the top or tops of numerous positions around the field. I think it was more of that they had a greater team push, stadium push and people employed/volunteer to sit and submit 25 votes after 25 votes.like_that;1687617 wrote:It's just another indicator.
I don't have any knowledge of NFL teams pushing like some MLB teams....just me thinking baseball.

What about the guy that picks all his favorite players and finishes first?thavoice;1687520 wrote:I wont argue the validity of any of those, but it drives me nuts when fans just vote for their team when it comes to this type of stuff. Agreed. The voting of Peyton Hillis to be the Madden cover boy was a disgrace but it did show a lot of the voting power of the fan base.thavoice;1687520 wrote:I wont argue the validity of any of those, but it drives me nuts when fans just vote for their team when it comes to this type of stuff. Nobody is calling for a thread ban because they disagree with ONE thing that you're saying. My assumption is that you are getting the hammer for your CONSTANT "Chicken Little" act that's bringing NOTHING to the table, annoying the Hell out of people and cluttering threads.IggyPride00;1687604 wrote:This board is no longer a safe environment for Browns fans. Too many trolls screaming for thread bans the second you make a post they don't agree with. Too many moderators ready and willing to fellate said posters at the first sign of their tears.
It is a travesty what has happened to this section. -

Then his favorite team must be good.........Wally;1687662 wrote:What about the guy that picks all his favorite players and finishes first?
When I used to do FF, way back in the 90's, a number of people tended to overvalue the players on their favorite teams. -
BR1986FBGood lord....the title of the article made it sound like he was dumping toxic waste here. Outside of the manure issue, I think they are overreacting.....

Browns cornerback Joe Haden will miss Sunday's game against the Panthers with a shoulder injury, according ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler.
Haden tried to warmup and looked good, according to Fowler, but said as he was walking off the field he's not playing. Rookie Robert Nelson is third cornerback on the depth behind Haden and K'Wuan Williams, who are both out and could see an increase in playing time in Haden's place. The Panthers are 3 1/2 point favorites at home against Cleveland.

K'waun williams is out too so we pretty much have no one to defend kelvin Benjamin, who I am going up against in the fantasy finals. [emoji35] -
Ironman92Probably all be out for Ravens game too I assume.

Pick6so K'waun Williams and Joe Haden are out and Gilbert still can't get a damn start smh. The Browns are moving Poyer from safety to start at corner.

Doesn't really make sense to me at all. Gilbert has looked fine the last 5 weeks. Not sure if he did something at practice that pissed pettine off, but at this point fuck sending these young guys messages. Put them all out there (including desir) and let them get some playing time.Pick6;1688172 wrote:so K'waun Williams and Joe Haden are out and Gilbert still can't get a damn start smh. Farmer should be ashamed of himself.[h=4]Poyer starting at CB ahead of Gilbert[/h]
He allowed Pettine to bully him into making that pick and it has been an unmitigated disaster.
I hope come next draft he is prepared to stand up to his head coach instead of bending over and taking it like he did last time. -
BRFHow about we get a win today?
Go Browns! -

IggyPride00Way to go Pettine.
Win the toss again and defer so that your shitty ass defense can give up points on the opening drive again and put Johnny in a hole.
This guy is a freaking bum. -
IggyPride00Dansby saved Pettine's ass right there because they lost about 6 yards on that 3rd down run.
