I people didn't want to see what I had to say they would use it.
Deciding for everyone else that they are too stupid to decide for themselves makes you no better than JJ was with his censorship and strong arm tactics. -

IggyPride00S&L is an excellent example of this problem.
He has been devoted to me for many years now which I am flattered by, but he could save himself alot of trouble just using the ignore button.
I understand he is addicted to me, but why should everyone be punished because people like him have an unhealthy addiction to me they can't break on their own?
It is like he is saying to the moderators "I am powerless to stop my desire to see what Iggy says on my own, so I need you to save me from myself and block him from everyone."
How is that a healthy outlook and attitude towards running a website? -
BR1986FBWe're here to talk sports and, in this case, specifically about Browns football. We want to discuss the game, players, potential draft picks, etc. We don't want to have to sort through worthless drivel that suits one or two individuals personal "agenda" because they HAVE to be heard or "want to be right."
He makes the comment about this "once great site." Well it's the assholes spewing crap like a broken record that piss people off and they leave because they'd rather avoid the site than weed through the bullshit. Instead of being a bitter butthurt bitch, ENJOY the fact that they are FINALLY winning. Whatever happens after this year with Manziel happens. -

Because your stupidity is polarizing. It's like looking at the 400 lb slob in Walmart showing more ass crack than the San Andreas Fault. You don't WANT to look but that morbid curiosity draws you like a moth to a flame. I've noticed no "obsession" with S&L towards you.IggyPride00;1671960 wrote:S&L is an excellent example of this problem.

He's like that 3rd grade boy who goes up and keeps hitting the girl he likes to get her attention but always denies it.
Except in his case it is to constantly keep vigilant of whatever I post and commit it to memory as if it was the last thing he will ever read.
I guess I kind of know what it feels like to have groupies now.
Flattering, but at the same time creepy that someone you have never met is so consumed with everything about you and make it such a big part of their day. -

That 74% seems a little high to me. Especially since like 75% of the AFC has a winning record.BR1986FB;1671944 wrote:Way too early to thin about but wouldn't this be sweet?

Someone asked, so I'll share. The ‪#‎Browns‬ win tonight gives them a 74% probability of making the playoffs based on their record. Fired up yet? -

Not to mention the #32 SOS to this point. If they enter December with 8 wins I'll feel good. -

What will get the browns fans excited is in a few weeks if htey keep winning the season ticket holders will get info about buying playoff tix.... -
like_thatIf the Browns do what they are supposed to do with their next two opponents, then we can start talking about playoffs. Until that happens, taking one game at a time is the way to go.

Now is the time of year where you have to hold serve at home and steal some on the road. 10 wins USUALLY gets you in. SOmetimes it comes down to whom you lose to. A NFC loss isnt as bad as an NFC for tiebreakers.like_that;1671988 wrote:If the Browns do what they are supposed to do with their next two opponents, then we can start talking about playoffs. Ironman92I know divisional teams know each other better than other teams about the league...but it was as if the Browns defense knew every play the Bengals were running, especially the d-backs. Haden was great for a couple years and it seemed to me that he lost it a but this year in coverage....but he seems to always shut down Green and Skrine looked like the receiver on several plays.
Like the Cardinals pounding Kershaw....the Bengals appear to me like they are tipping the pitches. -

Bengals sportstalk brought it up a couple weeks ago now teams have film to go on with the coordinators and may be catching onto their tendancies and they may be need to 'self scout' themselves to see if they are tipping their hand.Ironman92;1671993 wrote:I know divisional teams know each other better than other teams about the league...but it was as if the Browns defense knew every play the Bengals were running, especially the d-backs. It is entirely possible. I know it is only HS but our team caught on from film and playing a certain team when they were going to pass or run it and the DL sent a signal to the secondary. -
Midstate01The Browns blasted Pittsburgh then pissed down their leg the next week. I won't start truly believing in them until they show they can handle success and play well.

Cleveland Browns – Performances of Note
Joe Thomas, LT: +6.4
Breakdown: Across any position, Joe Thomas is perhaps the standout player of the past 7 years. Unrivalled excellence matched with remarkable consistency, this game showcased the type of player he is. Flawless throughout, his impact in the running game setting up cutback lanes and widening what happens playside is rarely talked about, but so much fun to watch.
Signature Stat: Didn’t allow a single pressure all game. The fourth time this year.
Paul Kruger, OLB: +4.9
Breakdown: He may have been relatively tame while mic’d up, but he was anything but from the moment the ball was snapped. He started early with some opening drive work on Gresham in the run game and never let up, ending the day with four hurries, a hit and a batted pass.
Signature Play: With 1.03 left in the first half Kruger sails past Marshall Newhouse to record a hit on the quarterback.
Brian Hoyer, QB: +2.6
Breakdown: In a game like this all Hoyer had to do was avoid turnovers and the Browns lines on both sides of the ball would take care of the rest. He did that, and then added a little more to make anyone talking about a quarterback change look foolish. Pressured on just three of his 24 dropbacks, Hoyer was sharp throughout, mastering the conditions in a manner his opposite number could only dream of.
Signature Play: There are throws you can watch over and over again, and Hoyer hit one with 6.37 to go in Q3. Gary Barnidge had a step on Reggie Nelson, but his perfectly thrown back shoulder ball ensured George Iloka couldn’t get over the top to break it up.
Cincinnati Bengals – Performances of Note
Andy Dalton, QB: -6.2
Breakdown: There was an element of bad luck to each of the picks thrown by Dalton, yet so bad was he outside of these that he earned his misfortunate with a display full of bad moments. Any day you complete 30.3% of passes you know it’s a bad one, and while you’d like to blame the wind, you only need to look at the performance of Hoyer to know it shouldn’t have been as much of a factor as Dalton let it be.
Signature Stat: His adjusted accuracy percentage score of 42.9% is the lowest score of any quarterback this season.
George Iloka, S: +3.5
Breakdown: One of the few Bengals to leave this game with any credit, Iloka is one of the least heralded safeties in the league, but one of the better ones. He added another pass break up to his tallying, bring him to three picks and five other pass defenses on the year.
Signature Play: Timing is everything and Iloka proves it with 5.04 to go in the 1st. He breaks on a well thrown ball by Brian Hoyer to deflect a pass intended for Miles Austin.
Marshall Newhouse, RT: -4.6
Breakdown: No real surprise here as Newhouse had his typical game, struggling pass protection and forcing the team to adjust by giving him extra help. That left center Russell Bodine in some unfavorable matchups, but such was the mismatch of Newhouse versus any Browns pass rusher, it had to be done.
Signature Play: He may have expected help from his right guard, but there’s no excuse for getting beat as quickly off the snap as Newhouse did with 11.36 to go in Q3. Bryant went past him as if he wasn’t there on his way to the first of back to back sacks.
PFF Game Ball
The left side of the Browns line is a fantastic watch for any football fan, and no linemen in the league is playing better than Joe Thomas. He was superb in this one.
