Rumor has it he's referring to a relative who is in terminal condition in the hospital. He asked the Kings owner if he could leave the team and not return until the situation was resolved. He was told no. Combine that with the firing of a coach he supported and the rumors of a new coach, it's probably time he's gone from SacTown.

And no, he's not perfect. He's been immature and still shows signs of it. With that said, he's basically reached Dwight Howard in Orlando status. He needs a change.

Not surprised you're making excuses for him.

Exactly. UK players are perfect in every way. They're basically god. so maybe boogie just mean how you going to get in his way.
  • Azubuike24
It's not me who came up with that. I read it last night after his game-winner. I have no clue what he meant by it...but it doesn't sound like the whole story is known.

Read it where? A Kentucky forum? I just did a Google search and found nothing about what you posted.

But you post it on here like that is actually out there, because god forbid someone says something bad about a former UK player.

C'mon with this one. You're better than that. No UK players are that great, until they win something in the pros and are the best in the league. Position-wise, Cousins is pretty damn close. There's not a better offensive center in the league when you take scoring, rebounding and passing.

It was a linked Facebook article and discussion below. There's no reasoning behind any of it. It's just as plausible as anything else...

And yes, if I'm wrong or the truth never comes out, I'll still be here.

No it's not as plausible as anything else.

With Demarcus cousins, going batshit crazy about nothing is a lot more plausible then a reasonable outburst.

Sorry but when you are the laughing mental stock of the league, you don't get that benefit of the doubt.

Cousins is a bitch. With that being said, if he wants to walk from Sacramento, I'd take him in a cavs uniform.

    That would be insane lol
  • Azubuike24
That would be a major love/hate thing for me. However, I do believe he would be fine if he had a good supporting cast and stability.

The Kings are also in complete disarray without him. They don't have much to build with and have been awful when he doesn't play.

Not current NBA but no better place to put this. Stories about Larry Legend back in the day are always fantastic.

I read some of that on Deadspin. The ending was hilarious to the story they had there, where Bird said he'd go for 40 on 'Nique and then 'Nique closed it by smiling and saying he won...because he only scored 39.

Larry was probably the greatest trash talked ever lol.

More Cousins: "I hadn't planned on making any comments about what is out there. But at this point I felt some things needed to be clarified"

Well you sure changed your mind.

I love that Magic and Larry special ....Bird was a tough ass son of a bitch on and off the court. He wanted no part of liking Magic and Magic couldn't stand someone not liking him.

Love Bird winning the 3 point contest with his warm up jacket on

The best part was when he walked into the locker room beforehand and asked "who is finishing 2nd tonight?" Lol

The best part was him backing it up with 24? Points

Kyle Korver to the All-Star team. What a joke.

Don't even really know who that is.

    A 3-point specialist who averages 12.9 PPG...

There are literally more than a dozen players more deserving if you take guards and small forwards into account.
