New Orleans @ Cleveland

shook_17Mine as well get this started. Does Cleveland stay with the up tempo offense? Do they get West and Crowell involved more early? And can the Defensive backs hold their own against Drew Brees and company?
Does Josh Gordon get his suspension lifted? And are Tate and Cameron healthy and good to go on Sunday.
If the browns defense shows up along with the ground game going I think browns win 30 to 24. If not I think it's along day. -
SportsAndLadyI'm done getting optimistic about Gordon.
He's not playing this year. There ya go, there's the breaking news.
I'm sure NO wins this just not sure if it'll be another heart breaker or a crushing defeat. -
shook_17Lol true! It's Cleveland, we never get a break our way. EVER.
-
MulvaHate that the saints lost yesterday. This becomes almost a must win for them.
-
DeyDurkie529 17 browns

thavoiceSaints are usually bad on the road outide, but it is early season.
IF the browns learned the lessons against the steelers...that you cannot be ultra consersvative...I think they win this one. -
Ironman92Need a good early game plan for sure. Need to be within a score at the half.
Is Rob Ryan still the d coordinator? Hate him. I think Browns will have to mix up run and pass and do it all game.
Gun to my head and I'd take the Saints but only because of the Browns not being able to get over the hump in crunch time. I'll be pretty surprised if the Saints win easily. -
like_thatIf the same defense shows up next week, this game will be a nightmare. Jimmy Graham and Cooks will have a field day.
Lhslep, any chance you can post PFF grades from yesterday's game? -

Mort just reported that the NFLPA is going to vote on the new drug policy tomorrow. If they vote yes, then welker/gordon are reinstated. -

Was this Welker's first offense?like_that;1652166 wrote:Mort just reported that the NFLPA is going to vote on the new drug policy tomorrow. If they vote yes, then welker/gordon are reinstated.
NFL looking bad IMO with Ray Rice, Kung Fu highlights, marijuana, failed drug suspensions.
Someone is going to be made an example...maybe several -

Testing for HGH? Half the league will be gone.like_that;1652166 wrote:Mort just reported that the NFLPA is going to vote on the new drug policy tomorrow. If they vote yes, then welker/gordon are reinstated. -

I had a discussion with my friend about this. I think HGH should be legal in the NFL.robj55;1652171 wrote:Testing for HGH? Half the league will be gone. -

Man that's dicey, you're talking about a sport where head trauma is frequent. I'm a huge MMA fan and this is always a topic of discussion as well, although they have better testing methods than the NFL. If you're going to allow the use of it they need to sign off on a waiver or something to that effect.like_that;1652182 wrote:I had a discussion with my friend about this. BR1986FBI agree that HGH should be given a pass in the NFL. It's not a drug that makes you stronger or actually improves performance (faster, stronger, etc). It's a recovery drug. Fans want to see these guys go out and give top performances every week but if they are in the ice tub, they aren't on the field.

Midstate01I feel like Brees will just pick us apart.

I predict another sweep. Pitching sucks and our bats have gone silent.like_that;1652142 wrote:If the same defense shows up next week, this game will be a nightmare. Jimmy Graham and Cooks will have a field day.

Cleveland Browns – Three Performances of Note Terrance West, RB: +1.4
Breakdown: Cleveland’s third-round pick wasn’t expected to see a ton of action, but with Ben Tate injuring himself (again), it was West’s time to shine, with an even 100 yards rushing on just 16 carries.
Signature Stat: The Towson State product forced six missed tackles, and averaged 4.1 Yards After Contact. He also finished with an Elusive Rating of 154.7.
Brian Hoyer, QB: -0.8
Breakdown: Hoyer acquitted himself reasonably well given all the talk this offseason, completing 19-of-31 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown, without turning the ball over. He was sharp in the second half when he seemed much more comfortable in the hurry-up offense, leading the Browns to 24 unanswered points before the Steelers pulled it out. As you might expect from someone in just his fifth career start, he struggled greatly under pressure. He was just 1-of-6 passing on eight dropbacks under pressure, and was sacked three total times.
Signature Stat: He completed only 3-of-8 passes over the middle from zero to nine yards downfield.
Karlos Dansby, LB: +1.5
Breakdown: Lured from Arizona with a big free agent contract, Dansby showed why he got so much green. He finished with six tackles, four assists, three stops, and an interception for good measure.
Signature Stat: In the second quarter with 14:38 remaining, Dansby made a terrific break on a short out route by the RB and cut in front of him for a diving interception. -
shook_17Ben Tate out 2-4 weeks with a knee injury.
Thank ni god I drafted West in all my leagues! -
shook_17Also Ed Werner reported on espn that they agreed to a higher threshold for pot and that would immediately bring back 20 players

@SportsCenter: NFL & NFLPA could approve new drug policy by this afternoon. Josh Gordon's suspension expected to be reduced to 8 games. (via @AdamSchefter)BR1986FB;1653375 wrote:Schefter saying that if the new drug policy passes, Gordon still probably looking at 6-10 games off. -
