Every team in the AFCN got Tennessee, Jacksonville, Atlanta, New Orleans, Tampa Bay and Carolina. Ill
conced that Houston is decent and obviously Indy is legit.

Completely forgot about the AFC South on the schedule. That makes it even weaker (minus Indy and, perhaps, Houston).

Hilarious, but I think the funniest line was....

    JOE FLACCO

Holy crap. THE FALCONS OUT BROWN'ED THE BROWNS

Okay, I take that back...this might be the funniest thing on there....

[h=3]COLIN KAEPERNICK[/h]And along those same lines, my 17-13 victory yesterday eliminated the Redskins from the playoffs.

If Cleveland beats Buffalo and Baltimore beats San Diego, it very well may go a long way to securing 3 AFC North teams in the playoffs. Unfortunately, none of them really have a chance to get a bye, and most likely, will be the 4, 5 and 6 seeds because the Pats and Colts have such an easy road.

I think Pittsburgh may have one of the easier schedules, down the stretch, if they don't shit in their hat like them seem to do against the ultra-putrid teams.

2 games vs division leading bengals isnt a cake walk and neither will be KC.

and then the Falcons and saints....for sure losses, right?

I disagree. Pittsburgh plays 5 games against teams still alive for the playoffs. New Orleans will be desperate on Sunday. Atlanta, at home, same thing. Kansas City will still be alive for a WC spot and that game will be huge. Then, home and home with Cincy. If Pittsburgh is the best team, then sure, it's an easy schedule. However, they also lost to the Jets and Bucs.

IMO, you could say that if either Pittsburgh or Cincinnati sweep each other, that team wins the division because by default, they would have the best AFC North record. Cleveland and Baltimore need them to split...
  • Azubuike24
Baltimore has the easiest schedule remaining. Home vs San Diego. At Miami. Those are both tough, but if they can split those, they should win vs Jacksonville and at Houston (neither team has anything to play for). That puts them at 10-5, hosting Cleveland in week 17. Even if they don't win the division due to head to head/division record, they will have a wild card spot.

Cleveland has the toughest remaining schedule, but it gets a lot easier if they steal a win in Buffalo. If they can host Indy and Cincinnati at 8-3, they can look at that basically as a split would be a win scenario. Same thing would be said for them in week 17 where that game against Baltimore would be for a playoff spot.

The biggest thing for the Bengals might be week 16 vs Denver. If the Broncos win their next 3, or go 2-1 (with wins over SD and KC), the will clinch the AFC West, but possibly be stuck in the #2 seed after losing H2H to New England. It's possible they aren't playing for much in week 16 in Cincy.

Nope. Going off opponent win percentages (I think before last Sunday's games), they have the toughest conclusion of anyone in the division.

Falcons are the #4 seed in the NFC

They would be the #13 seed in the AFC

Eh. The NFL has built this empire and gets these players paid by all the varying contracts and agreements they have. Being a part of the team they have certain things they have to do and being media available at certain times is part of that. It feeds the media which feeds the fans.

Sherman and Lynch seem like assholes. They get paid millions to play football and by doing so they have some things they have to follow. Just fucking do it.

It works both ways. The NFL and the players, while they COMBINE to make a great product, everything else is at odds. The players are subject to some ridiculous rules on and off the field. The contracts of some of these players are extremely league/team friendly. In the end, if I'm a player I take what I can when I can get it.

    Yes. And it was hilarious.

Not only did he hate on the Browns for not giving up 27916 draft picks, he also said RG3 was and would be much better than Andrew Luck.
  • BR1986FB
RGIII is pretty much done. When you take a seat to Dolt McBoy, you've hit rock bottom.

Said/Salto dedicated a whole season on trolling Browns threads because of rg3. The irony of it all is he is getting benched for a former Browns QB LOL. We all already know this, but he is a fucking idiot, that has shown he knows nothing about football.

Trading for RG3 is going to set the Redskins back as much as the Browns were set back when they traded away most of their 2008 draft picks.

If it was just "you don't like giving interviews...well, our rule is that you have to...or else!", I'd agree with you.

But then you add in things like how contracts aren't guaranteed like in baseball (something that comes up a lot in the Andy Dalton talks because, while his contract is obscene, the team really is only forced to pay the first couple years of it) and make up rules like "oh, you guys have paid contracts to endorse this product...well, we just signed our own with their rival product, so you get in line with us or get fined", the NFL starts to look a bit bitchy.

And then you add in the "we CARE about player safety" company line while having them play two games in five days thanks to the Thursday night addition. And trying to keep alive the "move to an 18-game season" thing, which I'm sure would help, too.

And then there's the simple truth that Roger GODdell is an incompetent idiot presiding over this shit. A guy whose main impetus for decision-making seems to be to listen to public backlash and hilariously over-react to it. Fuck that clown. Anyone who mocks him deserves kudos.

They are to be made available 2-3 minutes once during the practice week and after a game. Sure, some dont like to do it and that would suck, but if you give the interview and give basic answers and nothing good they will stop wasting their time with you.
The players are employed by the NFL. They get endorsements because of that. Richard Sherman no way gets a chunky soup deal without them being the NFL sponsor. No way. The NFL isnt saying they cannot get endorsements with any other company, it is just on game day and when officially at work they have to wear the league sponsored items. After work, during the week, they can do commercials and be in an official capacity to whatever item they wish. AJ Green has a deal with Dre Beats and I have seen those commercials. To steal what they said on M and M this AM, it is like Saturday Game Day by Home Depot....Those guys cannot have like a Lowes coffee cup on the set of the TV, same with American Idol and Coke...those people have to use those Coke cups on the table and cannot use Pepsi.
It isnt like the players are left out in the dark, the franchises received over 100 pairs of those BOse headphones for free is what ESPN said today.
Sleeper doesnt allow his McDonald employees to wear burger king or wendy's stuff while they are at work.

About the player safety stuff........I can def understand that. How long has the league played Thursday night games? That is a legit concern for the players, but that Thursday Night deal gets the league 275 million dollars. Maybe they can work something out during the CBA.

True about the NFL contracts and guarentee's and that was addressed in the last CBA and teams now there is more guarenteed money, more than ever.

I just have a hard time feeling sorry for any player who is making a shit ton of money and is "forced" to wear FREE apparrel/electronics while they are at work and in official capacity of the league and Oh no, 4-6 minutes a week being available for an interview.

Very interesting they are starting McCoy. Saw on NFL network I think it was about RGIII last weeks performance. One play they showed FOUR receivers open, and I dont mean just a little bit, but way open and RGIII had alot of time on that play. ANother one he had 2 guys wide open and chose to throw to a guy who was covered like a glove. Recently it came out that coaches of his dont think RG puts in the time needed to be a great QB. NFL QB has to be a video study nut to know everything the defense is doing. How else do you see the great QB's made amazing throws to receivers, before they even make their cut, to a receiver that is even well covered? talent of course, but also tons and tons of film study in recognizing the defense, knowing exactly what the receiver is going to do with said coverage (which easily can be an option route depending on the defensee) and making that throw even before the move.

Geno Smith for the Jets....easy decision. They need to see if he has learned anything and what he can do. Vick isnt the future. Is McCoy the future in Wash? Doubt it and that is why I am surprised, but RGII has an option coming up for big money and I guess they are seeing if they can get by with mCcoy

Lmao at said, but also wish I could pwn all of bspn for the rg3 d slurping. Pissed me off that they trashed the browns for not making the trade.
