    Can't wait!

Love how Pedroia plays.....but I'll be fine not hearing about Gomes.

Was JUST reading how Mariana Rivera was praising Pedroia and his passion, while slamming Cano.

Still no Billy. When does he end up on the DL retroactive to the other day?
  • Rotinaj
Hopefully Bailey can stop being terrible. I doubt it though. Probably the usual 4 runs in 5 innings bullshit.

The problem with this is, they keep using him as a pinch-runner. It's really stupid to keep doing that if they think he needs DL...

That's true. Hopefully he's close to coming back so they can quit this day-to-day stuff.

I saw where this is only the 3rd time the Reds have played the Red Sox since the '75 World Series. How can that be?

Believe it or not, IL has been around since 1997.
    Doesnt seem that long.

It started by rotating divisions and then changed. So, year 17 and this is the 3rd time.......guess it is possible. I am not sure when they started if they did the rivalry games. That probably has cut into the amount of times you play other teams, such as boston.

Couple of buddies of mine flew out this AM for the series. Would be pretty cool to go to Fenway.

I am not too worried about Bailey.
He was behind out of ST. His velocity is there. His command is there in terms of not walking guys. He is startng to dial in his location and when that happens I look for him to get results.

Gotta love the straight on shot from CF.
  • sherm03
Not that it mattered in that at-bat, but it seemed like Heisey reverted back to his old stance there with the higher hands and more open feet. Not sure why he would have done that.

    Bad Homer it appears tonight
  • wildcats20
    Ugh
  • sherm03
Well that's just some bad luck there.

    Shocking....

    What happened?
  • wildcats20
Papi hit a perfect gb. But with the shift on, BP and Cozy had some confusion and Cozy didn't get to the base quick enough.

Big Papi hit into a potential double play. Frazier threw to Cozart who threw on to Votto. Appeared to have gotten the DP. But the runner at second was ruled safe because Cozart did not get the foot on the bag in time.

    There you go Skip!
  • Ironman92
I think maybe the first 1-3 years IL play was a home/away 3 game series with your rival.....always playing the rival took away a team or two in the rotating division and that could've been the Sox once or twice.
  • Ironman92
    Bailey rolling now
  • SportsAndLady
Only looking at the box score gotta laugh at another man at third with 0 outs and no score.
  • Ironman92
    Well, that didn't work
