More bad luck on that DP to end the inning.

Yeah, but the base runners have to know where the infielders are on every pitch.

    Many much bad feelings here
  • Ironman92
Gritty bunch of fucks.....they just don't chase. A bunch of Votto's
  • Ironman92
    Money pitch
  • sherm03
    Fuck!
  • sherm03
Still not sure where Ball 3 missed.
  • Ironman92
They won't chase....a playoff built team that works about everything. Homer is a bad pitch from a nightmare.
  • Ironman92
Chris has to stop using BABIP stat for Homer if he's not going to mention his line drive %

It's sad when you see AAA hitter after AAA hitter in the lineup. How does Soto even have a job? Let alone start a game?
  • Ironman92
Thank You weak hitting SS with poor plate presence
  • Ironman92
    Not too bad considering

This team hits when there is 2 outs, or we're up or down 6+ runs. But when it's close, and they need runs, they won't score.

    Fucking hate it
  • Ironman92
Big CF....Hamilton and Heisey both get that ball. CF might be Skip's only OF position. I prefer more range in CF, rather my RF be weaker

    Fortunate

Votto is one of the better scoopers at 1st

Runs scored (120, 24th in MLB)
    OBP (.323, 13th in MLB)

Without Votto, this team is probably dead last.
  • Ironman92
Bailey gets to the quality start but his WHIP and peripherals are not like last year

Everyone on here ripped him last year, but he was 16th in MLB in WHIP (1.12) despite having an 11-12 record. Names ahead of him...

    Fernandez
    Kershaw
    Harvey
    Scherzer
    Darvish
    Bumgarner
    Strasburg
    Wainright
    Sale
    Lee
    Price
    Grienke
    Minor
    Iwakuma
    Zimmerman

Most of those guys would get 20M+ if they hit free agency.

Thus far ......he was miles better last year. I'm still not convinced with him against good teams and also without Hanigan....that's just me. Not speaking for anyone else.

Definitely agree. Every number tells the story this year. I like Barnhart behind the dish though. At this point, I think you have to consider keeping Pena and Barnhart when Mesoraco comes back. Pena is the best hitter off the bench and Barnhart is a good pitch receiver and defensive catcher.

Tucker moves as good as any catcher I have seen in years behind the plate.

I agree....Soto and that dude who played for BP the other day.....not seeing it. Skip can play everywhere in the IF if needed
