Reds vs cubs - game 2

  • mhs95_06
Strop makes a bad play on Bernadina's bunt to load the bases with no out, and true to Reds recent fortunes, they don't score! I feel uneasy with Broxton!

Broxton gets 8,9,1 in 1,2,3 fashion. Righties couldn't handle his low, outside slider which looked very sharp.

LOL @ SportsAndLady. Jimmies have been rustled.

Good to get the win, I guess.

Need to win tonight and get ready for a very important 4 game series with Milwaukee at home.

Yeah this upcoming Milwaukee series is very, very big.

It would be nice to win the series, but I'm not sure it's "very, very big" a month into the season.

Turned it off during the rain delay after Heisey drove in the go ahead run.
Smart move by Price to hit him.
Doesnt quite make up for his boneheaded double switches in the Atlanta series though.

Milwaukee is beating everybody. Best record in baseball I believe.

This is definitely a very very big series. Just because it's April doesn't mean it can't be big.

And are showing no current signs of letting up. The Reds are 7.5 games back ALREADY.

True, it is a big series. A win today doesnt mean anything less than a win in august or september.

Only diff between now and later in the season is the time to make up the games if you play bad, or give it up if you won the series.

Yeah, anything anyone does against the Brewers that can knock them down a peg would be nice. Especially if it has the added benefit of getting your team over the hump to where they go on a hot streak.

Which would be better than the Pirates tactic of losing 3/4 at home when they should have won 3/4 except their closer blew two saves thanks to Roid-Boy going homer crazy. Fuck the Brewers. Just fuck them.

It's a big series because even the last 4 years when the Reds have been superior, we still struggle badly against Milwaukee. They have been like the Cubs were to the Cardinals.
  • Rotinaj
Every series is a big series for a team with playoff hopes that can only beat the fucking Cubs.
