Yeah...but no one in baseball is going to get hurt continuing the play.Azubuike24;1600649 wrote:It's most likely how it is in the NFL. If a fumble that is ruled down on the field is also returned for a TD, they will review it and change possession, but once the possession change happens, the ball is dead there. It's unfair to the defense often times, but it's the best compromise you can make without basically having guys just play through all whistles in-case of a potential review.
Oh well, I suppose I'll still watch -

Azubuike24BHam gets on and Phillips never gives him a chance to run!
Then, BP K's for the 4th time swinging in the game.
Awful. If only BP got paid a bit more, he would've gotten it done there -
Ironman92Before 3 games have ended the Reds have had 2 guys whiff 4 times in 1 game....

I dont think you will see a much different approach for hitters as a whole now matter who the coach is. A hitter in the bigs has his appraoch he has used for much of his life, and a new hitting coach wont change it.SportsAndLady;1600667 wrote:Looks like the same old plate approaches to me..
Now..a hitting coach can help tweak, change things for a hitter when he is struggling a little bit but for the most part it comes down to the ability of the hitters. -
Heretic
Last time anyone tried to change Phillips' plate approach, he wound up getting labeled a cancer and traded from Cleveland to Cincy for nothing.SportsAndLady;1600667 wrote:Looks like the same old plate approaches to me..
