I think he would've been a factor. Seahawks need every edge IMO

The last 2 match ups in Seattle were 42-13 and 29-3. San Francisco came out on the worse end each time.

Home field is about the only edge the Seahawks usually need.

So you think Seattle wins easily regardless?

Nothing is as easy in the playoffs as the regular season. I think Seattle wins without Harvin though, yeah.

Ditka was comparing great QB rivalries trying to top Brady/Manning and the first one he mentioned was Montana/Staubach??? Danny White was the Cowboys QB the vast majority of Montana's years.

I just checked....Roger Staubach never faced off vs Joe Montana. The only year they overlapped careers was 1979 and Steve DeBerg was SF QB vs Dallas

ESPN really sucking this morning with their Joe Montana stuff....just put up a graphic of oldest combined QB in championship games. The 2nd oldest QB matchup according to them was Joe Montana vs Joe Kelly (pretty sure his name is Jim)

This game is really boring so far. Then again, the AFC does suck this year.

Manning opens the 2nd half with Denver's 2nd 7 min TD drive of the game, to put them up by 17. Only negative for Den was the time-out they called to avoid a delay of game on a 3rd and 2, due to Manning's decision to not snap the ball into a defense they weren't aligned to be successful against.

Brady has been off the mark so far today.

I am sure he will throw a beautiful TD pass after this post though.
  • mhs95_06
Manning has thrown a few off target also, none worse than the blooper he threw down the left sideline that the defender over ran what should have been an INT, but instead was a 20 yd completion in the 1st TD drive. Now Den uses its 2nd time out of the 2nd half, and it pays of also with a sack on 4th down!

The Pats have packed it in, for today. Wow, the AFC stinks.
  • mhs95_06
Now Den needs to not turn it over as they work the clock.
  • wghfan
My gosh, the Pats are missing tackles all over the fuckin place.
  • wghfan
    and some more miss tackles

So if the Seahawks demolish the 49ers at home once again does the NFC suck too?

Nope. The NFC is the better conference, and it will only show how really good Seattle is.

The NFC was a much better conference last year as well. How did that work out in the SB?
