I thought the '95 team was the best team in baseball all year. It's bad to see the best team not win it.

Expectation were high for the '97 team. Not meeting those expectations and being only one out away was probably what made it difficult for most folks.

I still don't think that either of these would be as difficult for the people of Cleveland as watching Elway go 98 yards in a little over 5 minutes to tie the game in 1987 and keep the Browns form the Super Bowl.

Yeah...95 team was better, but I just remember my one year old child sitting on my lap as we were ready to see a Cleveland championship....sigh, it crushed me

Seeing your child disappointed changes everything.

The fumble.....MJ'd buzzer beater to a far less extent, 2002 playoff game, LeBron shitting himself

None were close to winning it all....baseball has to take it even though the Browns are far and away the favorite

Maybe it wasn't Tiernan but several months ago you replied that you thought I was as old as one of the elders on here (around the age of 50)

As long as classless brings the unintentional lulz, I don't think it will ever get old.

The 2007 Indians choke job was crushing too...but I was immune to stuff by them

I kinda remember that now. I never thought you were Tiernan's age though. I envision he is about 70+, and needs to get a life.

I think because it was football, it's harder to take.

His liver won't make it to 70

Who knows what would have happened in the series but the Rockies were not a very good baseball team to get as far as they did.

It's football because the Browns are #1 by a good bit in Cleveland.....or am I wrong on this?

Probably not a lot of Indians or Cavs bars in California are there?

    1) The Fumble. I forgave Byner and thought the trade for Oliphant was unnecessary. Nice blocking Webster.
    2) The Drive. I did not think the FG was good.
    3) Fuck you Mesa.
    4) David Justice making the tribe pitching his bitch in '95.
    5) Greedy Model moves.
    6) Ehlo lacks vertical jumping ability (back when I GAF about the NBA).
    7) Still not sure what happened in the 2007 ALCS. Crushed in games 6&7.
    8) Ahmad Rashad in 1980.

The LeBron era....I want disappointed in 07 because they were completely outclassed. I was super pissed when he quit against Boston though
