Week 11: Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals--The Battle of I-71

  • SportsAndLady
    Browns coming off a BYE
Bengals coming off a loss to the Ravens

Pretty pumped again for Haden v Green.

    Bengals 6-4
    Browns 4-5
    Ravens 4-5
    Steelers 3-6

This should be a pretty good game, assuming Campbell plays solid. Bengals are pretty banged up, especially defensively. Hopefully "Bad Andy" shows up for Cincinnati. Browns should be jacked out of their minds for this game.

I'm thinking of adding Campbell to start for my fantasy squad since Romo will be on bye? He's been solid the past two, and we're obviously a passing team. Thoughts?

I was just telling my friend, if the Browns lose I will obviously be pissed, BUT if they lose because Dalton tears it up I will be extremely pissed. No reason why Dalton should be the reason the Browns lose.

Defense/ST/Field position will win this game per usual.

Not sure what the Browns offensive plan will be, but I'd def try to attack their depleted secondary. Flacco looked like complete shit doing it though, but they don't have a weapon at TE, and the browns have a much better pass blocking line. With Geno out, I suspect the Browns line will have less double teaming schemes.

No. Bengals D is too tough.

He did pretty well against KC? And, the Bengals don't have Hall or Atkins.

They still managed to make Flacco look like Weeden, so there is that.

    Yeah, but you're forgetting something...

    Flacco blows.

Exactly. Crappo sucks but I still wouldn't start Campbell.

I will be there. Should be a shit show but hopefully the Bengals win something like 49-42 with Josh Gordon and Jordan Cameron having monster games. Guessing it really will be a 17-14 win for either team, though, with Greg Little getting both TDs.

Yeah something tells me the day of the Browns/Bengals having the near 100 point shoot outs are going to be gone for awhile lol.

Making the trip down Sunday for the game....very excited. It will be my first time in that stadium.

Nothing special. Pretty much a stadium filled with white trash redneck bandwagon fans.

Haha, yeah, I would guess not. 2 of the top 10 defenses in the league IMO so as long as both have average QB play at best they should usually be low scoring games.

The stadium sucks, so don't get your hopes up. I've never been to Cleveland's stadium so can't tell you how it compares to it but I think it is freaking terrible.

Most NFL stadiums are pretty generic. It's the fans who make the stadium.

I've only been to Ford Field and Lucas Oil Stadium, but both were light years better than PBS. They're also 2 of the newer stadiums and are both domes, but overall quality it wasn't even comparable. Great American Ballpark for the Reds is also a million times better than PBS. The screens in the stadium suck, food is alright, aesthetically it is horrendous, and there are a lot of drunk and not very knowledgable fans there. That last part is probably fairly common at NFL games, but I just hate the stadium.

The Detroit Tigers stadium is something special, I mean have you seen that line up? WOW!

The browns stadium is very lame....improvements are on the way supposedly

Historically, this game doesn't bode well for the Browns. These teams seem to split a lot with the home team winning on their home field. Browns haven't won in Cincy since Lee Suggs' one healthy game where he ran all over the Bengals defense.

Man after that game I thought Lee Suggs was legit. smh, can't believe it's been that long since we won in cincy

Yeah, me too. Spent more time in the training room than on the field. Same with Courtney Brown.

BTW, we actually won in Cincy in 2008. Palmer got hurt and was our first win of the season.

Then was our bye week, then we pwned the NY Giants on prime time. Thought we were on a roll after that. SMH

Finished that season by getting shut out in our last 2 games. I also went to that redskins game, driving home AFTER the game getting home at like 2 am and getting up to go to work at 7 am the next day, what a shitty season.
