Would be sad if he never got back to what he was, struggled big time so far this year.

Turner might be, but I don't see Philly giving him a near max deal and building around him. I just don't. I guess if they feel he's going to become that, they sign him, but it would be a mistake.

I might be wrong and it's well-documented I've never been a Turner fan.

    Ouch.

Reports are D-Rose has torn the other ACL.

Think I read that Turner is playing well because he's driving again and not settling. Not sure why he would ever stop driving.

    Rovell tweeted a crazy stat...

The odds of reinjuring the same or tearing the other ACL after injuring one, is 1:33.

DeJuan Blair is the only current NBA player that I can think of that has done that and he did it while at Pitt.

Torn meniscus for DRose, guy can't catch a break. Will require surgery.

Caught the end of the Kings/Clippers. DeMarcus Cousins and DeAndre Jordan had a few great battles. 23/19/7 in a losing effort for Cousins.

Yes, I know, it's my weekly Cousins update :)

    Loves Cousins/Hates Turner

Both having great years. Yes, I'm eating some crow on Turner for sure.

Although DeMarcus was pulled a very bush league move after tonight's game. He basically dragged Isaiah Thomas off the court by his jersey and pulled him away from Chris Paul while trying to shake hands.

Still shows his flashes of immaturity.

He doesn't show flashes, he just is immature. A hell of a talent a I like his game but if he doesn't get a change of scenery soon I feel like he's going to be stuck as that guy.

    Yeah, I chuckled at flashes.

Dude shows flashes of maturity. He's immature the majority of the time.

I don't know. Apparently the officiating was absolutely the reason the LAC won tonight. In LA, coming off a loss. That's why he was mad. There were 2 occasions where Chris Paul got away with major flops. That's why he didn't allow Thomas to shake Paul's hand.

As for maturity, Cousins has been very well-behaved this year and has actually turned into a team leader. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a team captain in a few years.

The guy puts in the effort and really has a desire to win. Hell, about 1/3 of the NBA's high-level players have none of this at all and are simply there for the fame and the paycheck.

And yet, he wins less than any of the NBA's high level players.
  • Azubuike24
Well, yeah, he's not nearly on that level yet and neither is his supporting cast. Hard to blame him for the lack of winning...

Look at the Kings draft history in the last decade.

    Kevin Martin (traded)
    Francisco Garcia (lol)
    Quincy Dooby (lol)
    Spencer Hawes (traded)
    Jason Thompson (traded)
    Tyreke Evans (traded)
    Bismack Biyombo (traded)
    Thomas Robinson (lol)

I mean they have been awful at not only drafting, but developing. Some of their best players the last few years have been on-the-cheap acquisitions or draftees with lower expectations. Drafting Isaiah Thomas and picking up Marcus Thornton are about the only good moves they have made outside of drafting Cousins. They also did well in the Vazquez deal with NO.

When did I ever say anything about garbage???

Besides....why are they not reliant now or last year? Bosh didn't pick up the stats.

No way does he put up those stats now. Lol

Bosh's PER, fg%, TS%, eFG%, and WS/48 are all at the highest levels they've been in his career.

It's still early, but he's shooting 58% and 50% on 3s. I don't really get how you could criticize him this season.

He's off to a good start......but his numbers have went down when it matters the most the past 3 seasons.

13 Spurs players scored 6 or more points tonight
  • Ironman92
The Clippers won again but their starters are logging big minutes....only Crawford off the bench is doing much and eating minutes.

Was Doc known for this in Boston?

Not you but sleeper did and then you backed him. I bet he would average 22 and 10 as a lead guy on a team,no doubt in my mind. This league is about opportunity more so than anything else, and he can play.

Sleeper baits everyone. I think I did say he was a shell of his former self though.

I never, at any point was trying to debate/argue that he was garbage.

3 years ago I thought he was a top 3 player......in my mind he has fallen a good deal. Is he top 15?

But how many scored 5 or more?!?!!!??! Please give us some more made up stats!! /sarcasm

You're ususally better than that, I mean I would expect this from Ironman91, but not Ironman92.

Bosh had 0 points in game 7 of the finals last year. Top 26.
