If we actually get a good QB we won't need an injury Prone nicks. Gordon is showing he can be a true #1, cameron is a great mismatch wr. Those guys will take the pressure off our true #2, who i don' think we need to trade for. I don't fap over having so many great WRs. Have a line that blocks, a true #1, good TE, and a good QB (this one is crucial) then I believe everyone else will look great. -

BR1986FBI know this was discussed on the Browns/Lions thread but when I was watching NFL Total Access this morning they had a guy on there who was the head of the NFL referees. They were discussing the Greg Little catch/non-catch and the guy said it was all due to the lack of camera angle by FOX. He said there wasn't conclusive evidence that said his left leg/calf didn't drag before the second foot got down. Now he did say it "may have been a catch" but the lack of a camera angle down the sideline prevented the refs from getting the true angle. Wouldn't have meant a difference in the game but the call still sucked.

Yeah that was horrible...fuck FOX; how the hell do you get the privilege of airing NFL games, yet you have 2 fucking cameras on the field?BR1986FB;1518674 wrote:I know this was discussed on the Browns/Lions thread but when I was watching NFL Total Access this morning they had a guy on there who was the head of the NFL referees. I don't agree that it wouldn't have made a difference though...that was for a first down and would have been near midfield if I remember correctly. That would have been huge and that's not even bringing up momentum. -

You're slipping, man. Apparently you forgot who is playing QB? He would've pissed down his leg in a pressure situation, most likely. With the way the offense, particularly Weeden, performed in the second half, I have no reason to believe they would've punched it in on that drive.SportsAndLady;1518696 wrote: I don't agree that it wouldn't have made a difference though...that was for a first down and would have been near midfield if I remember correctly. Lol he wasn't really playing horrible at that point. I mean he wasn't good, but he could have advanced the ball another few yards for the FG. Would have put us right back into it.BR1986FB;1518719 wrote:You're slipping, man. Apparently you forgot who is playing QB? He would've pissed down his leg in a pressure situation, most likely. But yes, Weeden can suck it. -

Just pisses me off that this is a playoff potential team with Hoyer and now they're "meh."SportsAndLady;1518722 wrote:Lol he wasn't really playing horrible at that point. I mean he wasn't good, but he could have advanced the ball another few yards for the FG. Would have put us right back into it.

I don't see the Steeler's passing on a good trade offer just to block the Browns. They've got way too many problems of their own to pass on value simply to block us from getting what we want. However, I also agree that I don't think we will reach to trade up for a QB if no one rises above the crowd. There's no sure thing in this draft right now, and I feel like the Browns brass values the process too much to simply throw away picks for something that isn't a sure thing.Commander of Awesome;1518289 wrote:Depending on where we end up, if we want a top QB we better hope that a team like the Rams (who have a QB in place) end up at #1 or #2 so we can trade up. Now if the Jags end up at #1, just forget trading, and hopefully a team like the Vikings aren't at #2 because they're taking Hundley. Steelers end up at #2 we can also forget it, theyre not going to hand us a franchise QB. Basically we need to hope that the Jets, Bills, Raiders, NY (though they prb Clowney) end up with the #2 pick so a trade discussion can even happen. Vikings, Cards, Stillers end up there you can pretty much forget a trade. We could also end up being in the top picks as we're terrible with Weeden under center.
Regardless if we trade up for a QB, BOTH first rounds picks will be needed. A team isn't going to give us a fucking QB for flipping our first round picks and throwing in a 6th rounder. That only happens with Cleveland, trading in the division to give the ravens a HOF dlineman. Sucks but that's the market set by idiot Redskins. Hell it will probably take next year's first as well depending on how far we have to move up. -
like_thatJust more possible salt on the wound. We get a phantom roughing the passer call, the refs possibly miss one on Suh: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9831174/nfl-reviewing-ndamukong-suh-hit-brandon-weeden
-
Commander of AwesomeThe phantom roughing the passer was total bullshit. That was a call that the refs made AFTER they saw stafford was a bit shaken up following the hit. Nothing to do with the actual play that Groves made. Such a load of shit. Worst refed game I've seen this season.

What? I know of several shitty ones and there are the ones you see doing your game and you just know they are going to fuck things up.like_that;1519159 wrote:Lol only you know the refs. -

Coleman is the old guy and that crew seems to have a good bit of confusion going on in their games. I'm surprised he's still around. -
Ironman92Steratore and Green are the best IMO
Winters crew is known for calling the most.
Fuck Jeff Tripplette
Hochuli is overrated
McCauly and Corrente are pretty good
Carry, Anderson and Leavy are average but get plenty wrong
Don't know the others. -
SportsAndLadyI know hochuli because he's jacked. I also know the black ref because he points so hard when signaling a penalty on either side.
-
Ironman92Coleman's Wikipedia page is filled with games of confusion....most famous was Tuck Rule game in 2003.
He has been very generous in games for the Patriots.
Funny enough there is an article saying Coleman owes a big apology to Detroit fans from a few years ago. -

Everyone seems to hate Triplette...as do it. -
thavoicePete Morelli still in the league?
Wanted to kill him a few years ago from his BS call in the steelers/Colts playoff game. Polamalu INT a pass, rolled over on the ground with the ball, gets up and then fumbles and he overturned it and gave the Colts new life.
NFL Came out that next week saying that he was wrong.
Did my best and put all my vmoney on the browns to win I think. Not that there is much left of it anyways.... -
Commander of AwesomeThis thread isn't about the refs, it's about how bad the Freowns will get pummeled by GB cheeseheads.

like_thatSeriously, stfu about refs. Only steelers fans memorize refs names and bitch about them. Ironic since the refs handed them a SB.
Anyway back to the game. Cobb not playing helps us. Packers might have to rely more on the run. -
RotinajI don't think Cobb being out really makes much of a difference. They still have a shit ton of weapons at WR and Finley at TE.
-

James Jones is very questionable as well. They don't really have a ton of weapons, especially if Jones don't go. Basically leaves them with Nelson and Finley.Rotinaj;1519425 wrote:I don't think Cobb being out really makes much of a difference. They still have a shit ton of weapons at WR and Finley at TE.
