I don't either.Laley23;1510061 wrote:Superstition.
Every thread I have made this year has been the same configuration (Team Name @ Team Name Series Thread) and then in the first post I put a small little paragraph about the series. Dont want to fuck with that system in the middle of a 10 game winning streak! -
BoatShoesSo upset that I have to be out of town for the Tribe game wednesday and the Browns game Thursday.....
Roll Tribe! -
TBone14I let the wife talk me out of getting Wild Card tickets with the promise I could go to at least 1 game for every other potential series no questions asked.
We have tickets to game 4 of the ALDS at this point. Hoping we get to use those bad boys. -
BR1986FBWas probably already posted but here's a compilation of the Tribe's 2013 walk-off wins....

Super duper pumped! We will be in CLE around 5:45 Wednesday. I am sure Wilbert's will be packed, but oh well. Can't wait!wes_mantooth;1509743 wrote:What a day!! Tailgated the browns game and watched the tribe and brownies from the comforts of my bus. PS, Ubaldo fucking sucks...I am sick of him.
Side note: I am soooo glad i got my WC tickets for wednesday early, heard it sold out 10 mins after the tribe clinched today. Sadly, my lady friend injured herself today at the muni, so she may not be able to go with me Wednesday....boooooooooooo -

Indians wanting people to wear red (which makes no sense as nearly all shirts are blue other than goon squad). I might be being too superstitious here, but I'm wearing my grey jersey I wore when I attended last Wednesday. -

TBone14Who is everybody rooting for? I almost don't think it matters. Both teams have had the Tribe's number the last couple of years for the most part. Texas owning us until we flipped it on em this year.
For some reason there is something about the Rays I don't want any part of. They played in the toughest division and are just pesky as shit. I think they give Salazar fits. -

Rooting for Texas. Think I read where we match up to Garza better than the Rays guy (Cobb?). I like that Salazar is gonna be an unknown, and throws HEAT. Rays up 1-0TBone14;1510217 wrote:Who is everybody rooting for? -
like_thatBased on our track record this year vs both teams I would go with the Rangers, although with nelson cruz back that's another threat. As stated above rays had our number this year and grinded out in the toughest division in baseball.

I kind of agree, but also think Salazar is as calm as can be. I think he throws a really solid 6 innings.TBone14;1510217 wrote:Who is everybody rooting for? I almost don't think it matters. That said, for sure rooting for a comeback with Texas tonight. Doesnt look good though.
I would MUCH rather face Garza than Cobb. Cobb might be the best Rays pitcher for the entire season. Dude is legit. That said, Garza has come up big in big moments a lot in his career.iclfan2;1510220 wrote:Rooting for Texas. Think I read where we match up to Garza better than the Rays guy (Cobb?). Most importantly, this.BRF;1510249 wrote:Just bring it. -
wes_mantoothI don't care who we play, just as long as everyone has fun and both teams escape without injury!
Go Baseball!! -

Ha I thought about it, and I think I wore the Jersey earlier in the year and they lost, so I think I'm good to go with Red, just need to spend more money on a shirt now. But don't worry, Thursday I'll be going for 3-3 in what I've worn to watch the Browns the last 2 weeks.Laley23;1510304 wrote:No such thing as being too superstitious. -
FootwedgeAlex Cobb has given up 3 earned runs in his last 3 starts covering 23 innings. His ERA for the year is 2.76.

TBone14That is the shit the Rays do that make them so tough.
Fuld on 2nd...nobody paying attention. Takes off for 3rd while the pitcher still has the ball. Pitchers tries throwing to a 3rd basemen not ready for it and throws it down the line. Rays tack on an insurance run without even needing to get an RBI hit. -
ptown_trojans_1And the Rays will not use their pen.
Only good thing is the Indians miss Price. -
TBone14Price was a man tonight. Pretty impressive.
Bring on the damn Rays! Don't forget folks, we have the Jacob's Field magic on our side. -
