    Ill-disciplined Mingo
Barkevious Mingo (-3.7) struggled in his first start as a pro. He generated a single sack as a pass rusher on 47 attempts, and he failed to beat a block on that play as he simply noticed Dalton beginning to scramble out of the pocket and tackled him a yard behind the line of scrimmage. Mingo did show the capacity to get his hands up and deflect passes (Q2, 5.26 and Q3, 4.35), but even that seemed not always to work out, as the first batted pass still found its way into the hands of the receiver. His run defense was also poor (-1.7), as he made just the solitary defensive stop and missed a tackle. Just as with his sack, Mingo’s tackle for a loss came as he cleaned up an already destroyed run early in the fourth quarter (13.08). One of the biggest issues was his failure to remain disciplined and keep outside contain on runs going away from him. Mingo often went flying down the line of scrimmage only to find the runner cutting back to where he should have been. Although he had a tough matchup against Andrew Whitworth (+4.5), Browns fans will surely expect more from their first-round pick.

Points about Mingo are true, but he was in a lot of plays and was pretty disruptfull at times. To me, he passed the eye test and should do nothing but get better. He's a stud.

I agree with this. Pro football focus tends to know what they are talking about, but for a rookie he def looks like he can be a pretty damn good player. He just seems like a guy that will continue to get better.

for what it's worth, I know a guy that has been covering the draft since at least 2006 and writes for B/R as paid contributor. B/R I know, but least he's not a fail fan writing some BS article, he has a journalism degree from OU and gets paid for what he does. I trust his opinion, and he said Sheard has been nothing short of awesome this yr, but after last week's performance, he's not sure he gets his job back from Mingo. He thought that highly on Mingo's performance on Sunday. Great problem to have IMO.

I doubt it since the lot isn't opening till 5. Btw, someone needs fired over the way that lot is being operated. Even the cops think it is a joke

They had the parking authority on bull and fox after the first game. He was the typical government moron. I heard this past game was even worse than he opener, with people being forced to take down there set ups prior to 7, and I saw a picture with a police bus and some sort of surveillance tower. Being absurd and a waste of taxpayers money. I expect nothin less under mayor Jackson's watch.

I wouldn't go that far, but I sure as hell won't be QQing over depth on our front 7.
