Cincinnati Bengals in-season thread

Ironman92Wow....that is not the intent of the horse collar tackle penalty.....no harm but yet another big 15 yarder on the Bengals
-
Ironman92Crocker with an easy INT, but dropped.....having a horrible game
-
friendfromlowryA lot of the Bengals beatwriters I follow on Twitter are offended of the thought of putting in Josh Johnson. I'm not suggesting it's a good idea, but the alternative is to keep sending out a clearly flustered Andy Dalton.
-
friendfromlowryAt least the Bengals aren't the Colts today.
-
Ironman92Eifort with a beast-like play
-
Ironman92Challenge time.....elbow was down possibly a touch short
-
Ironman9217-3
-
Ironman92Ladarius Webb with a great interception
-
Ironman92Burfict has a great nose for the ball. Johnson causing a lot of problems.
-
se-alumDan Dierdorf loves him some Baltimore Ravens.
-
wildcats20LOL Flacco wasn't even out of bounds. Terrible call.
-
justincredibleThat penalty was some bullshit.
-
se-alumOfficials have been horrible the whole game, against both teams.
-
Fly4FunDalton looks terrible running the 2 minute drill... not surprising with how he has played so far today.
-
Fly4FunWhat the fuck was that? That was ridiculous!!!!

friendfromlowryWish that replay isn't ruined by them losing in overtime.
As for the team, the offense goes as Dalton goes. I always like to think Dalton has finally turned it around when he has a good game, but then he'll follow it up by looking clueless. The interceptions are one thing, but he seems to lack awareness, too (recall the safety from the Dolphins game). If the pocket collapses, he's done for. The hail mary miracle somewhat hides how dreadful his two minute drive was. I think it was the third to last play of regulation, as he was getting rushed, he decides to step up and try and run, seemingly forgetting that 1) There's 30ish seconds left, 2) No timeouts to stop the clock, 3) He's one of the slowest QB's in the league. The receivers don't always help, either. -

I think with time to pass and his big/talented receivers that he is well above average....but when facing pressure he is bottom 1/3 compared to others during pressure situations.friendfromlowry;1533500 wrote:Wish that replay isn't ruined by them losing in overtime.

SMH. Get some thicker skin. Idk why these guys think their immune to feedback on their negative performance. If I'm under-performing at my job, someone is going to let me know. He can be sick of boos all he wants, but the fanbase is sick of Dalton holding a very talented team back.
