Week 3: Cleveland Incompetents @ Minnesota Petersons

  Im feeling a Major League Moment coming on!

  In some weird way I feel like they are going to be in this game today and maybe even win it for that reason.
  
  The front office might want to throw the season, but the players could well band together to try and stick it to Joe Banner and company by not going along with the plan.
  
  Knowing they want them to fail is either going to galvanize this team and get them to play over their head, or it will lead to unwatchable football on a scale the likes of which we haven't seen. I don't think there is going to be a middle ground.

  Gordon showed flashes as a rookie last year (even having missed a year of football) of being a stud.
  
  Chances of getting a guy with his talent/ceiling in the 2nd/3rd round again (probably what we would get back for him) is not likely.

  I doubt we'd get a 2nd for Gordon. Probably like a 4th and ill be pissed.

  The problem is the organization can't trust him off the field. One more screw up and he's out for the season. Unless they can lock him in a room when he's not playing, u gotta take what u can get.

  They won't trade him for less than a 2nd (maybe a 3rd to a bad team so it is higher in the round) I don't think as he is young, cheap and has a high ceiling.
  
  There are contending teams that would love to add a piece like him on a 2nd round contract for 3 more seasons even with the knowledge he could be gone with 1 more strike.

  I dont think they'll trade him because of the possibility. I think they'll trade him because they are already tired of his shit.

  Would also love this. Where did you read that? I wanted him in the draft when he first came out. Went 1 pick before browns traded up for Hardesty.

  Now if they trade Gordon I will be very very very pissed off. Richardson I can understand. But you need weapons for our QB. Hes a big weapon and has shown flashes of being really good. You don't try to off load weapons because Lombardi talked shit about him and he wants to prove his was right, and thats exactly what he is trying to do.

  I dont really care what they do this season as long as its fixed by next season. If they get rid of Gordon, I dont see what the problem is if they bring in another quality WR in FA and one in the draft as well
