I think that McIlroy/Westwood at -3 is about as far back as realistically has a chance, and that is probably pushing it. I think the winner is going to come from somewhere in that group of 6 guys that are -5 or better right now as 1 of them is bound to have a decent round.

They have somewhat separated themselves from the field in that if any of that group shoots 67 or better it basically takes the rest of the field out of the tournament as the winning score would at a minimum be -8.

I just don't see the -2 or lower group being in this as it would require a near record round coupled with a total collapse of basically all 8 guys in front of that group which just doesn't seem likely. Someone is bound to play well or get it going.

Gotta expect Furyk to melt down. I think Dufner pulls it out.

Can't believe Furyk made that putt. If only he could have done that at the Ryder Cup.

Do not wanna see somebody from NE OH win this.
  • Terry_Tate
Does anyone take longer to hit a putt than Furyk?
  • bases_loaded
    It works for him

No....but the last two have been saving the tournament hope, but all but dwindling now

    Good job by Dufner. Congrats

I'm going with Dufner or Mahan to finally break through.

Well I was pretty much spot on.

Damn Duffners wife has a huge rack.

72 hole tournament....all have equal value. This weekend in a major....Jason Dufner was the best player in the world and Jim Furyk was 2nd....Tiger and Phil were 15 shots behind, if they had pars on 17 and 18 today were they clutch?

No because the moment wasn't big. But Jason is lucky he played like he did, because he clearly mishits that putt on 17 and pulls it left of the hole. Furyk could have won that tournament if he just parred out, instead he was barely hanging on to bogey. These guys aren't clutch but thank god no one was close lol

They were playing together. Dufner wasn't forced to do anything but tee to green....Furyk could not get closer than 2. When Furyk bogeyed....Dufner had more leeway....on 18 he had no reason to go for the par with his putt....lag it near and win a major. How can you possible rag on the two best guys of the weekend? It was far more important that they didn't fall back to the pack on the front 9....do they get no credit for that?

You are making yourself look a little silly. Had their been multiple other guys at -8 and -9 and their bogeys allowed them to tie them or even win....then yes choke. Jean Van De Velde choked....Dufner choked 2 years ago....nothing choke about a 68 on Sunday to win the PGA

This is why being a PGA player might be the best job in all sports. This chick doesn't even acknowledge this dweeb if he's a working stiff like the rest of us.

No doubt it's the best job in all of sports in my opinion. Get to go to beautiful areas of the country, don't have to suffer through winter if you don't want, and can pretty much pick your schedule. I see very little if any negatives to being a PGA player.

    Well done, Duf

Duff's Muff blows the doors off Lindsey "Im Almost Manly" Vonn don't ya think?
