    Duf!

Tiger never won a major from behind, no chance he wins this one.
  • said_aouita
    Duff' gonna shoot 62? Oo
  • said_aouita
    Hit it with his purse.

    loser.

    lol

Tiger desperately needs to work with a Sports Psychologist at this point.

He blew the field away last week and was by all accounts playing really well and his game was in good shape.

To come out and lay an egg this week just because it is a major suggests it is all mental. If this were a regular tour even there is no chance he would be trailing by 10 after 2 rounds as he usually always carries over hot play from week to week.

I seriously doubt that Tiger ever gets another major win, just don't think he has it in him anymore.
  • Midstate01
Dufner used the im just a kid from ne ohio line. Lol nice

Lol as do most regular golfers. But I think with the swing change he is too inconsistent this season, I mean look at his stats...
    Jan 24 Farmers Insurance 1 274 -14 $1,098,000
    Feb 20 WGC Match Play T33 – – $46,000
    Feb 28 Honda Classic T37 284 +4 $27,600
    Mar 7 WGC-Cadillac 1 269 -19 $1,500,000
    Mar 21 Arnold Palmer 1 275 -13 $1,116,000
    Apr 11 The Masters T4 283 -5 $352,000
    May 9 PLAYERS Champ 1 275 -13 $1,710,000
    May 30 Memorial Tourn T65 296 +8 $12,896
    Jun 13 US Open T32 293 +13 $47,246
    Jul 18 Open Championship T6 286 +2 $249,376.82
    Aug 1 WGC-Bridgestone 1 265 -15 $1,500,000
He's been all over the place this season, but I do think that despite swing inconsistencies he should still be relatively close to the lead, not 10 back and out of sight. IMO his short game isn't what it used to be as well, he has missed a lot of short putts and has probably given away 4-5 strokes in this tournament as he did in the Open

Not sure if fail or expected post from you.

Tiger guru stat: Butch 8 years—8 majors, Hank 6 years—6 majors, Foley 3 years—0 majors. But he's right where he wants to be.
I saw this tweet posted over on Golf Channel by one of the writers and it is kind of a good summary of where things are at with Tiger and his game.

How much longer will he stay with Foley if it doesn't start to pay off with some real winning at some point?
  • Tiernan
He'll get 15 at some point in the future kinda like Jacks 1986 win at Augusta when everybody thought he was done. But the title of Worlds Greatest of All Time remains with an OSU man.

Dufner has a backpack on right now. They just showed him coming to the clubhouse.

Also, Tiger is trying to make a late charge as he is about to have back to back birdies. He will probably push to even for the tournament going into tomorrow, and then we can hear him talk about how he thinks he is right there even though he will be 8,9 back. That is his MO anymore.

***scratch that, he blew a 4 foot birdie putt 3 feet past the hole with a terribly piss poor putt. Old Tiger buries that putt. I keep forgetting about this new version we have to deal with.

...and it's getting tiresome as hell. IMO, Jack's record is safe, at least as far as Tiger's breaking it is concerned.

Lol they talk about Dufner having a rub in and he spits it out on camera.
  • Tiernan
Duffner turning into "Duffer" as the day unfolds - Rory right back in the hunt @ -3 and Westwood has to be a threat @ -4 with 3 to play. Gonna be a great Sunday even with you know who nowhere in sight.
  • IggyPride00
Tiger has to be kicking himself right now.

With the leaders coming back had he been able to muster even like a 68 today and post -1 it is looking like that would have only been 4 or 5 back to start tomorrow.

Seems like he really doesn't give a crap.

    Why would he?

lol, great predictions....are you a weatherman too?

Stenson seems like he is right on the verge of breaking through. Its like he has been lurking for weeks now right there on the edges.

Furyk has to be shitting down his leg right now. He crumbled so badly last year in the spotlight that I just don't know how he walks away with the trophy tomorrow.

Not sure who is going to win. There are really only about 7-8 guys that have a chance unless Furyk/Dufner really come back to the pack.

Only nice thing about tomorrow is that Tigger is going to be done likely by the time the leaders tee off so it won't be all about him all day.

They almost always come back to the pack early in the round.

Back when our family friend caddied for Furyk we'd follow him around in his Ohio tour stops and I couldn't believe the amount of smoking going on. Never really see it on TV but some guys are chimneys between shots.

Yeah, I noticed that when I volunteered at Muirfield back in the day.
