REDS vs cards...Game 3

  • Ironman92
    Bad feeling about Leake

Reds starters have went 3 2/3 and 5 inn this series

I wonder if Parra will be able to pitch effectively tomorrow after getting five outs tonight. Amazingly he got the 5 with only 14 pitches, and that included 2 Ks.

Mike Leake career vs St. Louis - 45 hits in 34 innings, 4.76 ERA
Mike Leake career in the afternoon - 201 hits in 196.2 innings, 4.49 ERA

Lance Lynn is 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA vs the Reds this year.

Has Lance faced them in the day?

This has the feel just like the Bronson game did going in.....a win here would be pretty big.

Pretty sure both Lynn starts were at night. The first one was in STL, he beat Arroyo. The other was the Sunday night game where he and Bailey pitched good, but the Cards had that huge 11th inning and it was a blowout.

I don't remember Homer pitching that Sunday night.

Lynn has 3 starts against the Reds this year....the last was the Sun night game....and that was his worst as he went 6 inn giving up 4 ER.....that night Bronson out pitched him going for 2 ER thru 6.......then in extras Hoover gave up ~39 runs.

Homer faced him earlier but gave up 4 ER in 5 1/3 on 9 hits....Lynn went 7 giving up 2 ER.

Regardless, it smells like a 7-4 Cards win.

Our 8/9 today is more dangerous than the 6/7. Haha.

    Unfortunately....I nailed it.

Paul looks like he just woke up and jogged out to LF

Looked like a harmless pop out by Craig but Bruce must've been very deep.

1st pitch to Holliday right down the pipe....BALL

Reds are hitting the ball pretty hard off Lynn. Meso just smoked that ball right at the 3rd basemen.
