Gamecast showed it literally in the middle box of the strike zone. Lol but green for a ball.

Adam Dunn just hit a ball in the 3rd tier of shrubbery just to the right of the TV score graphic. monster shot

Close attention. This is what we get with Leake in a playoff game.
  • Ironman92
Bruce Choo and Paul have all muffed balls for the extra base....none are errors.

Leake is gone.....too many balls up

Leake has given up 8ER's to Cards in 2 starts. Bailey has given up 11ER's in 2 Starts.

    Okay, lets compromise.

The WHOLE FUCKING ROTATION isn't ready to perform in a game-by-game format against an elite team, despite the rotation having one of the best team ERA's in baseball.

    Fair?

8 ER or 11 ER in 2 starts of a playoff series is going to result in an 0-2 record probably 90% of the time. So, we have Bronson, Homer and Leake all unreliable against good teams. Who is left?

    The team is in trouble.

Edit that. That's 10 ER for Leake now vs STL.

Yep..lets all face it, this team isn't going anywhere but a playoff loss in the first round.

Ondrusek, can't wait for him to throw a few 8th innings in the playoffs, haha.
  • Azubuike24
I do think as we get closer to October, you have to really consider Cingrani in the playoff rotation. So big deal, lets say he only goes 5 innings, that's why you have an Arroyo or Leake in the pen if needed.

It will be hard to keep Cingrani, who is sporting an 11K/9 ratio out of that rotation.

Honestly, id love to see him throw a few 8th innings in the playoffs. That means we actually won the 1 game WC playoff.

I'd rather miss out completely. If he's throwing any meaningful postseason innings, we have trouble.

If 2 of Broxton, Marshall or Cueto come back, Ondrusek is 1 of the 2 pitchers who are gone.
