The Tribe at the Marlins series thread

  • Con_Alma
Glad Salazar will start on Wednesday. I hoep Francona is approaching this like a playoff series. This decisions makes me believe he just might be.

I have no interest in seeing Lindor come up at all this year. I'd rather the pitching staff be loaded with as many options as possible.

Kazmir with another great start. 1-0 Tribe after 6

This Miami rotation is impressive and will be for quite awhile.

2 out of 3 is only OK if the Tigers lose.

Tigers with their leadoff man on base. Peralta better not get a hit to win this game.

2 of 3 on the road vs anybody is always good...no matter what. We can't control what they do...we just need to win series. Hell...I would jump up and down for .500 on the road the rest of the way. Tribe haven't been a good road. Winning this series was good.

Give me a break...as Tbone said, 2 out of 3 on the road is OK anytime!!!

All right, royal_k, the pressure's on--work your magic

Lol...difficult crowd. One bad outing on the road for ubaldo and we want an unproven rookie taking his spot.

One loss on the road against a team that has been 27-21 the last 2 months...and that is just ok.

Enjoy the ride fellas....the are streaky but fun

...and one that's young and naïve enough not to get rattled by who he's facing ;)

Im out visiting family right now. Will start the detroit thread when I get home.

I was listening to the postgame show on the radio and Calloway said one of the reasons Salazar is pitching wed is the kitties have had success against Ubaldo and have never seen Salazar. And that he's ready for the challenge.

Reality check this week. Thursday night will see the tribe anywhere from even to 8 games back in the loss column.

It has nothing to do with one bad outing or 2 or even three. It has to do with how he's pitching. He's rarely ahead of hitters and throws way too many pitches. He's not efficient and Detroit is too good at the plate to get that many looks.

This Tigers series is huge, but not back braking if we lose. The WC is most likely where it is at this year anyway.

    ??? T-bone and I disagree.

It's not OK "anytime". They lost a game in the standing on this short trip.

Its the same as getting beat by the Tigers head up. There's no difference.

The Indians entire season comes down to how they do on the raod and how they do vs, the Tigers. Thus far, they are awful at both. Improve in those 2 areas and they are in the playoffs.

Correct...that 8 inning outing the start before was dreadful. I hope he dies in a fire
