Exactly. And I hate Dusty, but it's applicable in about 90% of Reds' games. From a strategic perspective, you disagree with bunting even on 0-2?Ironman92;1467733 wrote:^^^ kinda redundant -
Ironman92Remember when Reds relievers didn't throw a fastball every pitch? Those were swell times.

I hate Dusty's managing too. With the manager sending him up there to bunt and he failed on 2 opportunities.....I would say screw it and you better find a way to advance him.....if you don't I'll go with someone else next time. -

Yep, studs like Cesar Izturis and Jack Hannahan. Your 5th OF who may never hit an over the fence HR in his career isn't bunting...STUPID.Ironman92;1467744 wrote:I hate Dusty's managing too. And his #2 skill is way, way behind the #1!Azubuike24;1467735 wrote:Then he looked like you or I on an 0-2 fastball. Might as well tried to bunt again. I just hate the idea of simply not even trying it. It's not like a great RBI man was up. Robinson's 2 best skills are probably bunting and running...yet doesn't even attempt it. -

He did, he went from 1st to 2nd in his AB! The threat of him at bat caused a pitch that the catcher couldn't corral.Ironman92;1467744 wrote:I hate Dusty's managing too.
