Midstate01thats just fucking awful. 3,4,5, all go down swining with runner at 3rd.

mhs95_06
That's the problem, he was trying to come up big and lost focus of the most important thing, getting the tying run in from 3rd with no out.Midstate01;1467674 wrote:really needed votto to come up big there. Now BP can hit into a DP.
That inning is an example of why Boche is a much superior manager to Dusty. He manages the game based on the way he sees it developing rather than some pre-conceived notion about who is going to do what at what time. Boche is playing this game game backwards. As soon as his team seized the slight lead, he got his struggling pitcher out of the game and got the real set-up and save in the 5th inning. And another Giant pitcher will get the win for pitching 2 or 3 good innings. -
Midstate01not a fan of Heisey, but we will take that homer!
-
mhs95_06Was Heisey working on hitting the breaking ball while on the DL?

wildcats20LeCure looked damn good.

looked like the lecure from early in the yearwildcats20;1467695 wrote:LeCure looked damn good. -
Azubuike24This is one of those games that, if you lose, you are REALLY pissed. It about sucks every bit of momentum you had against a terrible team (as of the last 2 months) after a no-hitter. It also sets the stage for a possible split, in a series you could've had a sweep.
-
Azubuike24BTW, Pedro Alvarez has gone all Domonic Brown the last month. The guy HR's seemingly every other day.
-
mhs95_06The last pitch to Sandoval looked like a little league play! A swinging strike 3 in the dirt goes between Sandoval's legs to the backstop, bounced back to Meso in time fo him to drill Sandoval in the back as he crosses 1B!
-
Azubuike24Freaking Simon.
Strike 3 on a wild pitch. A walk. An 0-2 HBP.
Now, bases loaded and the go to guy is...MANNY FUCKING PARRA.
This game is slowly getting to me. -
mhs95_06I smell a Parra walk to force in the lead run, after Simon "lost it" after getting the first two out!
-
Azubuike24Chapman looks the best he has all year...he ain't fucking around.

He's knocked in both runs and has hit the ball hard about all night. -

paternity leave not upcoming -
Ironman92That scared me off the bat but I guess it's damn near impossible to swing thru and fully drive Chappy's fastball
-
Ironman92Brantley getting after the complacent sellout crowd.
-
Azubuike24Why the hell isn't Robinson bunting? I don't care if it's 0-2. That's HORRIBLE. You get a guy on 2nd with nobody out and the next guy hits a grounder into the 2B hole, that would've won it on a drawn in infield.
Baffling Dusty... -
Ironman92Robinson with an awful awful AB
-

Maybe because he popped one up foul then watched a strike go right by. -

Then he looked like you or I on an 0-2 fastball. Might as well tried to bunt again. I just hate the idea of simply not even trying it. It's not like a great RBI man was up. Robinson's 2 best skills are probably bunting and running...yet doesn't even attempt it.wildcats20;1467732 wrote:Maybe because he popped one up foul then watched a strike go right by.
