    I remember them wanting Milwaukee to make the playoffs or something like that...so they could get him. I also remember that laporta want their first choice. Who was the shortstop (I think) that was Milwaukee's prized prospect?

    Kinda. It was him if the brewers made the playoffs. It was gamel or someone else if they didn't. So, he was a ptbnl on paper, but he was already chosen by us pending the brewers success with CC.

    Alcides Escobar...who now just kills us with the royals lol. Mat gamel was the other guy who we were debating on.
