Tribe @ Tigers (Series Thread)
-
Laley23The red hot Tribe makes the short trip across the lake to Detroit to take on the Division leading Tigers. Tribe has been the best team in baseball the last 1.5 weeks winning 10/11. Would be awesome to win this series, but we will fave Verlander. Tribe has typically been able to stay in the games when Verlander is on the hill, but it will be no easy task. We do miss Fister and Sanchez and instead get Scherzer and Porcello, who, imo, are the 4/5 for the Tigers.
Tribe will throw out Kluber Lang, Ubaldo and Z-Mac.
Game 1 (Fri. May 10th, 7:08pm):
Scherzer vs. Kluber
Game 2 (Sat. May 11th, 7:08pm):
Verlander vs. Jiminez
Game 3 (Sun. May 12th, 1:08pm):
Porcello vs. McCallister
I think Game 1 is huge with JV going on Saturday.
Also of note, Bourn should be back tomorrow. -
BRFRoll on, Tribe!

yep just a sick team from top to bottom. Cleveland and every other team that takes the field against them should feel honored.wes_mantooth;1441007 wrote:Tigers will sweep...best team I have ever seen in my 36 yrs of existence.

Soooo 16-2? Because -(-2) = 2. -

NOOOOOO. The first - is the separator of the scores...DUH!Midstate01;1441015 wrote:Soooo 16-2? Because -(-2) = 2. -

Sorry cant let it slide. 2 runs for the indians. 2 stubbs k's where ball gets away and he turns it into a round tripper. -
Laley23
Ok, but that means we have -1 in the first game and -0 on the second game. Which, I guess would just be 0. oh well.Midstate01;1441023 wrote:Sorry cant let it slide. 2 runs for the indians. 2 stubbs k's where ball gets away and he turns it into a round tripper. -

SonofanumpGood thing the series is in Detroit, would hate to see a Detroit fan come over and fight the bleacher section.

royal_kIndians lead the ML in HRs. Detroit pitching has given up the fewest.

HitsRusShould be a good match up. I'd really like to see Ubaldo do well in game 2.

Fab4RunnerGo Tribe! I am just excited because I will be at a house that actually get STO this weekend. I have missed watching games.

HitsRus^^^I like that.

Don't have a cable/dish package with it? Because I figured Moggy would be right in STO territory, since I live farther from Cleveland than there and I have it.Fab4Runner;1441162 wrote:Go Tribe! The house I am living in has Dish, and for whatever reason they don't have STO or Fox Sports. I think it's only like an extra $5/month for it, but it's just a temporary living situation for me so I am not that worried about it.Heretic;1441205 wrote:Don't have a cable/dish package with it? IggyPride00Was just reading a piece about Cabrera on ESPN and it said he is hitting .533 with runners in scoring position, and .382 overall.
Guys with his kind of power should not be able to hit like Tony Gwynn. It just doesn't seem fair. -

i would put him on every time he's up....base open or not.IggyPride00;1441296 wrote:Was just reading a piece about Cabrera on ESPN and it said he is hitting .533 with runners in scoring position, and .382 overall.
