Stubbs looks like he has some great talent. When he is going well he looks terrrific. He has the tools, whereas Janish didnt.
Cozart is still young enough and the honeymoon period is winding down. If he continues to struggle, strike out then he too will get the treatment stubbs got. -

If Cozart gets worse every year for a 3-4 year period, he'll deserve the same dislike Stubbs received. That was the problem with him.
