PBF - Pacman fight in jeopardy?

  Floyd Mayweather wants both fighters to subject themselves to a blood test (the same used during the Olympics) but Manny Pacquiao has supposedly refused to submit a blood test so close to the actual fight.
  
  I also found some of PBF's quotes interesting:
  

  "I do hope it is some sort of miscommunication and that Pacquiao is not even aware of what is going on and he will clear this up and say what is good enough for these great Olympic athletes is good enough for him and Floyd, and he agrees to do these drug tests.
  
  "Team Mayweather is very surprised that an elite athlete like Manny Pacquiao would refuse drug testing procedures which Floyd has already agreed to and have been agreed to by many other top athletes. Why would Pacquiao refuse to have the same kind of testing that Lance Armstrong, Michael Phelps, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have had?"
  
  "I understand Pacquiao not liking having his blood taken because, frankly, I don't know anyone who really does," Mayweather said in a statement. "But in a fight of this magnitude, I think it is our responsibility to subject ourselves to sportsmanship at the highest level. I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same. It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night.

  This really does make Pac look bad. The excuse that he doesn't like needles or whatever doesn't hold much weight when you have a ton of tattoos, sorry Manny.

  Yeah, I agree. Not only tattoos, but the fact that you don't have a problem getting punched in the face also makes the "I don't like needles" argument kind of smell like bullshit...

  This is NOT the Olympics. If Mayweather wanted to stay in the Olympics with their standards he should have stayed.
  
  IT does not make Pac look bad at all. In fact it makes Mayweather look like a total puss.
  
  There are tons of perfectly legal substances to give a person an edge and Mayweather is looking to test Pac so he has an excuse built in when he gets his ass beat.

  He is already going through tests set by the Nevada state athletic commission to test for illegal substances so WTF are you talking about?

  Look like Mayweather wants out of the fight knowing that Pacquiao uses a substance NOT illegal in pro boxing which is what they are fighting and NOT the Olympics.
  
  Pacquiao is doing nothing wrong or unethical he is following the rules of the Nevada athletic commission. Mayweather is a puss who wants out of the fight.
  
  Mayweather knew before the fight what the laws and regulations are, why bring the Olympics into this when it is not the olympics?
  
  The best reason I can think of he knows he going to get his ass beat so CYOA is being implemented. Mayweather is an embarrassment to boxing.

  There is nothing to hide it is the NEVEDA STATE ATHLETIC COMMISSION rules and Mayweather knows it.
  
  Those substances are NOT illegal in pro boxing only in Olympic boxing. Mayweather is looking for excuses and a way out of this fight.

  Apparently this testing has been in the contract for weeks and Pac's crew is just now bringing it up....also PBF's camp has conceded to multiple demands including the whole $10 million for each pound over the limit. I'm sorry but this makes Pac look shady....as far as people calling PBF a puss, I highly doubt that one of the greatest PFP fighters of all-time who happens to also be undefeated in his career is too afraid to fight a guy with 3 losses and over 50 fights in his career. I've been saying this for weeks, Pac won't be able to catch Mayweather and there's nobody better at counterpunching than Floyd.
  
  As for the fight being off, the two sides better come to some kind of agreement because boxing as a sport NEEDS this fight.

  Are you stupid? Pacquiao has NEVER failed a drug test and this is NOT the Olympics. Mayweather is a coward and I have little respect for cowards.
  
  He never wanted this fight Pacquiao is obeying the rules Mayweather is asking for something completely out of the norm in fact it has NEVER been asked before. Why? Because he knows he will get his ass kicked but this is a way out of the fight that people who are stupid will buy into.

  Pacquiao has NEVER failed a drug test do you realize that? There is no fucking reason to implement Olympic standards in a Pro fight it is fucking outragous.
  
  Pacquiao would break that chump and he knows it and that is why he is desperate to do anything including Olympic testing to get out of the fight.
  
  There are substances that are perfectly legal in the pro game and are not in Olympic tests Mayweather is a chump who is dodging the best talent it is a shame he won't fight under the very same rules he has always fought under before.

  “We’re going in a different direction,” Arum said. “What I believe is that Floyd never really wanted the fight and this is just harassment of Pacquiao.
  
  “We appeased Mayweather by agreeing to a urine analysis at any time, and blood testing before the press conference and after the fight. Mayweather pressed for blood testing even up to the weigh-in. He knew that Manny gets freaked out when his blood gets taken, and feels that it weakens him. This is just harassment and, to me, just signaled that he didn’t want the fight.”
  
  Arum worked on the negotiations until two weeks ago.
  
  At that point, the CEO of Top Rank Inc. withdrew, and handed over negotiations to the company president and his stepson, Todd duBoef, after the Mayweather camp refused to consider fighting in Dallas.
  
  Two days later, Dec. 12, Mayweather’s adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, disclosed the demand for random, Olympic-style drug testing conducted by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.
  
  “This doesn’t bother me because Bob Arum was the smart one,” Arum said. “He pulled away from this negotiation how many weeks ago? Three weeks ago? I knew what was up. I’m not a fool. Then when Schaefer said he wasn’t going to Texas, and so forth, I knew the fight wasn’t going to happen. But I could be wrong and that’s why Todd made a college try.”
  
  Arum said the Mayweather camp’s insistence on blood testing, rather than urine testing, merely was a way to get out of the fight.
  
  “Floyd, to me, is a coward and he’s always been a coward,” Arum said. “Not a physical coward, but a coward because he’s afraid to face somebody who could beat him. And believe me, Manny Pacquiao could beat him. So he’ll go his way, we’ll go our way, and that’ll be fine.
  
  “Manny Pacquiao doesn’t know anything about drugs. This is just typical nastiness by wise guys like (adviser Leonard) Ellerbe and Mayweather. They’re just wise guys. I don’t think Schaefer’s to blame. I think he got sucked in by it.”
  
  Arum said when he learned of the demand for random blood tests, he immediately rejected it.
  
  “Nevada has stringent drug testing, right before the fight and after the fight,” he said. “This is all a bunch of hooey and nonsense. The kind of testing we agreed to was designed, 100 percent, to detect everything.
  
  “Remember, 40 years of fights in Las Vegas and nothing like this has ever come up. If you want more stringent testing, sure, as long as it doesn’t inconvenience and psychologically affect Pacquiao, sure, who cares? They could analyze urine from today until tomorrow, it wouldn’t affect anything. It’s the blood testing close to the fight, while he’s in training, that’s unnecessary. And everybody who knows anything about drug testing will tell you it’s unnecessary.”
  
  Arum said HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg tried to intervene on the testing issue Tuesday, to no avail.

  He said he would pursue other possible opponents for Pacquiao, including Yuri Foreman, Paulie Malignaggi, or a third fight with Juan Manuel Marquez.
  
  Malignaggi would be an interesting choice, if only because he has made clear his own suspicions about Pacquiao using performance-enhancing drugs.
  
  Arum said he knows sports fans would be disappointed at the potential disintegration of what could have been the richest fight in history, and the most anticipated fight in decades.
  
  “Sure they’ll be disappointed,” he said. “But they’ve got to understand what’s up. We’re not going to keep appeasing this guy, for no damn reason, especially over something that would affect, psychologically, my fighter. We’re not going to be pushed around by this guy. We’re not going to do it.”

  He agreed before and right after the fight. That is plenty of blood tests and Pacquiao has NEVER failed a drug test.

  Why did Pacquiao want to only test right before and right after the fight and not during training?
  If you notice, Mayweather said random drug tests. Not daily drug tests, weekly drug tests, or even bi-weekly drug tests. Why wouldn't Pacquaio agree to "random" drug tests? ITS OBVIOUS HE HAS SOMETHING TO HIDE.
