It is not a foul in NCAA.Ironman92;1520991 wrote:Honestly I'm not sure but it is at some levels of football...correct? It happens some and called extremely rarely. -

Did it used to or am I misremembering the bitching that culminated after the USC/ND game back during the Bush years?Sonofanump;1520998 wrote:It is not a foul in NCAA. -

Ironman92Lol....that was helmet to helmet FWIW

Well it helps when you have like 6 inches and 70 pounds on the dude haha. But it was pretty sweet.SportsAndLady;1521002 wrote:Haha what a hit by the kicker!
Ironman I said that same thing lol -

McAfee is a beast....he is also 60 lbs bigger but you still just never see that. Feel bad for Holliday during the replay on film day.SportsAndLady;1521002 wrote:Haha what a hit by the kicker! -

The rule has been re-written that pushing/blocking is not a foul, but carrying the ball carrier in advance is a foul.Ironman92;1521001 wrote:Did it used to or am I misremembering the bitching that culminated after the USC/ND game back during the Bush years?
It was a rule they meant to take out, just never did, we were not to call it, akin to jaywalking. -
Ironman92
Ok thanks.....but I still think the jaywalking was called at quite the crucial moment (I know...it doesn't matter when it happen)Sonofanump;1521007 wrote:The rule has been re-written that pushing/blocking is not a foul, but carrying the ball carrier in advance is a foul.

AutomatikThoughts on the Pittsburgh game Ironman? Wasn't able to watch, but happy to get the W.
Next week will be tough, I hate playing at Oakland. -

Whimper (horrible name) played well on the line and I hope it's his. Pretty good game by the O-line and I think they had around 120 yards rushing and Bell was near 100. Dwyer did a nice job of coming in to block and a few plays.Automatik;1521010 wrote:Thoughts on the Pittsburgh game Ironman? Wasn't able to watch, but happy to get the W.

Ike Taylor sucked all day and #28 (I refuse to use his name) is still the worst defensive backfield player in the NFL. Polamalu was all over the field and Woodley and Timmons had solid games.
Special teams were very good today and Suisham has been great.
Ben went out to wide receiver 3 times and Bell took the snaps on the wildcat....worked well twice. Antonio Brown was a complete non-factor.
Still zero fumble takeaways on the season and only 2 interceptions. Woodley had a big sack on Flacco. -
Ironman92Powerful run by Luck
Colts are game on tonight -
Terry_TateColts are the real deal.

Laley23
I called laron Landry the most underrated pickup of the offseason. The whole defense has a new attitude and is playing great, but he has been a big reason. His style has really translated well and rubbed off on the other guys.Terry_Tate;1521026 wrote:Colts are the real deal.
Robert Mathis is rejuvenated. You can just tell he believes again after 2 years ago and even a bit of last year -
Ironman92How does that same dumbass official not see that also!!!! Same guy that botched the strip on the kickoff
-
Ironman92That was outstanding management and awareness by Luck....TD and the referee got steam-rolled.
26-14 -
robj55Luck outplaying Manning so far
-
Laley23Couldn't have asked for a better half. I expected a close, 3 pt game or a Broncos big lead at the half. This is a bit of a shock, to say the least.
-
MulvaLuck is so good.

Ironman92
Yeah....but the defensive intensity is a huge advantage for the Coltsrobj55;1521033 wrote:Luck outplaying Manning so far -
Laley23Manning has no zip on the ball ever since the Mathis sack. I really hope he isn't hurt...

Azubuike24Yep. He has nothing. This may significantly change the landscape of the NFL. The Broncos aren't even a playoff team without him.
