Thought this was comical and the definition of Tony Romo...

    Stats of the Week

According to Football Outsiders’ Scott Kacsmar, Tony Romo is the first quarterback in league history to lose a game where he attempted more than 30 passes and posted a 140-plus QB rating … and he’s now done it twice. Per Kacsmar, non-Romo quarterbacks are 159-0-1 since 1960 when throwing at least four touchdowns and posting a 140-plus QB rating. Romo is 1-2.

Pretty interesting stuff in there. Don't know how I feel about the extra playoff team but I guess it can't hurt if they take away a shitty preseason game. Glad to know they aren't going but a team in London but really wish they would quit adding more games over there. Don't really care if a team gets put in LA again but 4 teams in Cali just seems like a lot. Kinda funny how they made a rule that a team has to do hard knocks though.

I think it is a joke. LA has already failed 3 times at having a football team, not sure why they deserve another.

All organizations will be eligible with the exception of those that have a first-year head coach; teams that have made the playoffs in at least one of the last two seasons; and teams that have participated in the previous 10 seasons. "

Guess that will narrow it down significantly!

I am all for doing away with preseason game(s), or at the very least charge half price for those tickets. It is an absolute fucking JOKE that season ticket holders have to pay full price for those jokes of games. yOu can barely get half your money in selling them and a waste to actually go.

More playoff teams? Hell, why not. Some people want every fucking HS team to get in so they should be ok with another NFL team making it. I dont think it is gonna hurt to be honest with ya. I know some 6 zeeds have won the SB before but they usually are teams that had won 10+ games. I think the NFL wouldnt like to see an 8 win team slip into the postseason and get hot and win it. I dont think that would actually happen unless it was a team who had lost some key guys to injuries for much of the year and they came back.

Not that they're likely to win it but you may see a 7-9 team win the NFC East this year. Man has that division gone into the shit hole quickly.

Same used to be said about the old AFC CEntral a few years!

I look for Dallas to pull away. If they played like they did last week on offense they will start to pull it together. I think at worst the winner of that division is 9-7. Eagles MAY pull it together with Foles and finish at .500.

    NYG......put a fork in 'em.

Washington Obama's......I think they make a push soon and contend.

Eh I think the Cowboys get to at least 9-7(at least I hope I have 100 bucks on them over 8.5 wins). But I think they finish at worse 8-8. I guess as long as they win the division it won't be that bad for me(also have 100 on that happening lol).

I just don't think Foles is going to work in Philly and the Redskins lol their defense is terrible also that offense is not that great. I think the Giants actually have the best chance to turn it around they just have way to much talent to be this bad but I am loving it. But I agree with you I think Dallas pulls away and end up 5-1 or 6-0 in the division.

Could say it about the AFC North this year, depending on how things go. Pittsburgh is abysmal. The other teams are all 3-2, but have their own issues. Baltimore rises and falls as their $100 million QB, who still hasn't learned consistency, goes. Cleveland is back to Weeden and the Bengals are about as Jekyll and Hyde as a person could imagine a team being.

You'd imagine 1 or 2 of those three finishing .500 or above, but all it'd take is one injury to the wrong guy to start a downward spiral.

They briefly spoke on BSPN about the Falcons possibly going after Gordon n trading Cleveland. Are you guys seriously considering trading hom, or was that before he kinda broke out and you guys won a few games

Nope, pretty much ESPN just throwing shit at a wall and seeing if it sticks. Not even sure why the hell the falcons would go for that trade anyway.

Because Roddy white is like 75%, Julio is out for the year and our running game is on par with Jacksonville lol. A hobbled roddy and Harry Douglas combo is gonna end up with a top 3 pick in the draft

Only reason I would see them doing it would be if they planned on trading Roddy White in the off season.

So, next season you will have Gordon/White/Jones. Sure as hell won't need those 3 guys on the same roster. Also, if you are 1-4 now when Julio was playing, I wouldn't expect Gordon to come in week 6 and miraculously help lead the team to the playoffs. Definitely not worth giving up a first round pick (and that is what Banner would ask), I would take it though.

If I am the Falcons GM though, I realize this season is most likely a wash, and I trade Tony Gonzo to a contending team. Might as well get something out of it.

The hell did that smiley come from?

anyways, it we didn't give up too much and could have those 3 on a team and put Roddy in the slot, it'd be pretty amazing. that being said, I do see this season as pretty much being a loss unless the Defense and Oline miraculously improve. I'd like to see us get a nice high draft pick and either sure up the Oline, especially left Tackle(not sure if there's an absolute stud this year at LT, aside from Lewan) or an impact lb, maybe Shazier or the LB out of Bama.

as far as trading Tony, I think it'd be a win win trading him away. He's too professional and loyal to demand a trade, but he deserves a chance to go out on top this year. And honestly, he hasn't lost a step, he's stil one of the absolute best TE's in the league and we should be able to get a decent pick or so outta him
