  Typically people who find a need to know all the refs by name are either current refs (sonofanump) or people who constantly bitch about calls (ironman).

  I don't have a rater chart. I watch a ton of games and do pay attention to the refs as they appear on the screen to speak 10-15 times a game. I took a schedule of games and their crews earlier in the year and said what I thought of the ones I had seen a lot of.

  COA and like_that can give me some shit as they rarely mention refs and complain about them even less.....you just come on to try and be funny but only have the one-sided ability to defend everything they do.....so I guess now you are even below Jeff Triplette.

  Redskins ran a 2nd down play, and the officials signaled first down, the chains were moved, and the down marker changed to 1st down. Redskins ran the next play, then Triplette came in and called it 4th down. Redskins didn't get it. Complete screw up by the officiating crew.

As they're lining up, the refs quickly overturn that and say its first down (a couple of them are signaling first down but I don't think it was consensus amongst all of them).   Michaels and Collinsworth kept remarking that if it was 3rd and 1 like it was originally called, the Redskins probably don't choose to throw 20ish yards down the field. The refs should have just stopped and measured.
